I kind of like the toys, which is funny because I find the show to be really dull and lifeless.

Why is it that in every picture of Arcee, they have her "wings" folded down? It makes her arms look so derpy.

Still totally getting her and Starscream as soon as I see them.

My thoughts exactly, that said I'll be skipping most of the first edition figures, we already know Prime and Starscream are getting voyagers, Megatron is a given being Megatron and all. That just leaves Arcee and Bumblebee who are both Primary characters and will no doubt appear over and over in the line.

Well, just remember that Arcee is a GIRL, and therefore bad toy juju. With the way female characters, even primaries, get snubbed by the toy industry I'm actually surprised that she made the first wave roster. Dont expect her to get a lot of attention just because she's easily the most developed character on the show and has an excellent design. Despite her central role in the show, it would not have surprised me to find out she was a last-wave toy, or even not to be released.

Starscream looks great. The rest, not quite as much.

Eh, more mediocrity from TF Prime. I'll probably get Bumblebee, Arcee and possibly Starscream, since I like to collect the casts of the various shows, but I just can't get excited about this line.

Transformers Prime = Best TF TV show since Beast Wars, some people need to deal with this.

And it's better than the sewer scrapping IDW publish too.

If you didn't love animated, perhaps.
If you did, then it's a poor following.

Animated and Prime are two different beasts, style and story-wise. At this point, it's hard to compare them, especially since Prime isn't even done with its first season. Animated started off rocky too, not until its second season did it really pick up. HOWEVER, they both have great, somewhat accurate toys. It's just that official pics aren't and have never really been a great way to judge these toys. Bumblebee, for example, is HORRIBLY mistransformed here. We know the middle part of the grill tucks away and that the shoulders come up to look almost exactly like they are in the show. It's just that the pics we've gotten of these are either
    A. mistransformed (these)
    B. badly posed (ToyFair and BotCon)
    C. Badly angled (the ones from the reveal in February)

Except for Bumblebee. He's generally gotten the best of these scenarios, except for now. It's mostly Arcee that gets these problems. Although there will always be the issue of someone not liking the aesthetic. That issue is uncontrollable.

What gets me is.... Botcon figures are badly posed, but they're posed by Hasbro dudes if the pictures of them setting them up are to be believed, what is THEEIR excuse for getting their own toys wrong, eh?

Oh well, doesn't matter, I'm sure somebody like Peaugh will do it right 3 months before release.

Cause not everyone at Hasbro designs toys. Ones that do, aren't doing grunt work setting up toys for photography and release. These guys are interns, or maybe professional PR people. They haven't played with toys since they were 10 and IF they get any guidelines it's the same crappy instructions that we get in the box.

    Not yet. Not quite.

Loved TFA. Love TFP. Apples and oranges, really.

If anything, TFP had a worse start, but a better first season than TFA IMO.

    Bring them on!!!

I dont care what it takes, I am going to get these figures no matter what!(except stealing)
Who really cares if those are bad pictures? it is the toy you want not the pictures! but I will say that saying 2 in 1 is really not necesary... until those none transforming toys came out... they were worthless. almost as bad as cybertron adventures.
who cares if arcee's boobs arent big? or taht bee looks alot like his movie form(which he does)? or that scream... is a huge betrayer(give me a break, I didnt see anything bad about him much to notice)if you are a fan of the bots and cons, then just buy the thing, and stop complaining already!
    Hasbro... JUST! TAKE! MY! MONEY!!!NOW!!!!
