Default, Nitro, or the Walmart exclusive?

The only other bumblebee figure I have is the Deluxe HFTD one and I definitely want one that sports the DOTM look.

Nitro is probably the best bet, he has the pop up guns. But the WalMart repaint is full of awesome. Just not screen accurate.

default and nitro are both great toys. Both have their pluses and minuses though.

I'd probably get the default first as the arms, hip panels and chest are way better, but the backpack (doors aren't perfect but the whole thing actually pegs in place unlike the default's) and lower legs are way better on the nitro version.

never though I'd say I want them to make another 'bee, but if they'd only mix the two (and give him regular windows, rather than the racing net) they'd really have something special.

Any specific reason why? I have the Nitro in hand right now and am debating if I should return it for the deluxe one tomorrow. The only reason I bought this one is because it was the only Nitro left and there were a ton of the defaults.

Didn't even realize that was coming out and just looked it up. Looks pretty awesome! But as much as I love the paint on the cyberfire version, I have this issue where I would rather have the car look a little more like the movie car.

    Yes
To be brutally honest, last year's Battle Blades Bumblebee is easily the MOST accurate deluxe sized rendition of the character you can find. Short of the Human Alliance toy, I really can't think of a pressing reason to get another BB if you already have that one.

For the fuss over his "Dark of the Moon" look changes, I really didn't see that many fundamental changes to his look, and even the so-called "default" features elements (the Nascar windows and such) that don't actually appear in the film.
At least the Nitro version attempts to replicate some of the "stealth mode" elements featured in the actual movie.

The Walmart Bumblebee is a repaint from the 2007/2009 Camaro Bumblebee with a bunch of fanwank decals. The actual toy is a step back from the Battle Blades version in design, engineering and fun (because it was made before Battle Blades). Unless you absolutely love the fanwank, I don't see any real reason to even consider this toy if you are looking for anything resembling his on screen appearance.

Cyberfire is a repaint of the existing "default" Bumblebee, just so you have an idea of the design's quality.

I would personally go for Nitro Bumblebee. I just really love that powered up look that the alt mode has and I think it has a pretty interesting transformation.

I bought both and really like both...I guess I'd lean toward Nitro if I had to pick one, just because of the different take on the Camaro (with the rocket boosters and everything) and a different transformation.

I'm getting Nitro and the Cyberfire repaint. But BBBB probably tops em all.

Seconded. Aside from the backwards axe, BB Bee is pretty much the definitive deluxe-sized incarnation of the character. Go with that for Bee, and then wait for the Cyberfire repaint as an upgraded or evil Bee. That way you have both molds, but with radically different looks between them.

I don't know why, but the placement of the stripes and the added spoiler really just make me love the alt mode that much more. I know I probably won't get another Bee that's better than the HFTD one but I still want a movieverse camero that looks like the DOTM model.
