Like what you have done with the painting. Wish my skills were a little better on that stuff, but this guy is still gonna look good in the collection even unpainted. I think he is gonna be repurposed as kind of a SG Hardhead. Thanks for the video, can't wait to get mine in hand.

$100 for that is ridiculous. That's the price of an adult attendee ($45), Stronghold set ($40), and shipping I guess, but that is not worth getting for that price. Maybe worth it if you actually go to TFcon and pick him up there, but as a non-attendee no way.

 

^ I'm quite positive that's the idea. I think this is meant to be one of those con exclusives that helps you remember the awesome con, not a "fans everywhere must have that."

 

Got to agree. Not for a $100 anyways...$30 + shipping tops

yeah really! i wanted this until i saw the price..... to soon after botcon.... and to close to comic con........ i'd like it.... so hopefully i will be able to find one soon for close to the non attendee price  

 

I will only pay $10. With that price, I might not even buy it. Come on, a minicon + a few stickers, which make the robot mode look worse.

 

I must agree, a great set, cool stickers, price is way too high for such a small amount of product. If it was the figure and the set that would be better but just for the set not worth 100 dollars.

 

here's a re-post of what i posted in the news thread. hardreturn found out the green comes off real easy with 91% iso. alcohol. This took me about 30 minutes to do.


one word of advice to those doing this too be careful around the windshield area, that area has blue painted on clear orange and if you aren't careful you can rub some off.

also be careful doing the decepticon symbol on the shoulder, just go slow or it'll rub the silver off.

i just got rid of the blue on the crotch.
