Post Count = 2 I notice. that and you use the term 'Ruin Bay's film's'

Glad to see you enjoyed the '"Transformers : A Michael Bay Film" he will no doubt love to hear from you at michaelbay.com.

I think Uwl Boul is the only one who spring to mind capable of making Michael Bay look like a highly talented artist by comparison though. Even that much derided Paul W. S. Anderson bloke makes better Movies than he does or at least his Movies don't tend to have over 60 continuity mistakes in them like 'The Island' does.

Silly ol' Kermode has one thing right to ask though - Did anyone actually "enjoy" Pearl Harbor ?

Reboot or not anyone they are willing to hire instead who has some modicum of knowledge of Special Effects and can direct actors better will be welcome like; Alex Proyas, Peter Berg or Tony Scott just because they are not Michael Bay (and that alone is good enough for some).

I'm all for new characters and I've really enjoyed how Hasbro has been digging up characters that haven't been seen in a long time or never got toys in the first place.

But my problem is that without some really big changes it would just be Lord Straxus or Thunderwing show up on Earth looking for a magical McGuffin only to get killed by Prime or the replacement for Sam. I'd need a big shift in how these stories are told so it doesn't feel like bad guys show up just to get stomped by Team America and the Autobots.

But that movie was never coming young Padawan. These movies cost too much to make. HundredS of millions of dollars. If they only appealed to your Fan needs you end up with Scott Pilgrim, a great movie that lost a lot of money and cost a lot less than Transformers. It is in your inability to understand that you neighbors have to go to see the film as well that you fail to reach Jedi status.

Wahhhh I wasn't referring to your board. I don't care what you have to say on your board. I was referring to three or four douchebags on my board. Get your facts straight.

Because my name is on it? Because I have been the main person to give a damn since day 1.

Yet Lord of the Rings, Spiderman, Batman, Ironman, Harry Potter, and long list of other films found that middle ground of you can appeal to both the established fan base and people learning about the story and characters for the very first time. Talented film makers find a way to appeal to both groups instead of just one.

    Dear Lonesome Renegade Hater,

You are factually incorrect on almost everything you say. Do you ever get tired of speaking and think about actually learning?

We may not have appealed to YOU and for that I am sorry, but with a Cinemascore of A we did in fact appeal to the AUDIENCE. Every one of the Franchises you mention has haters who think they deviated from the source material too much. Those haters are very few and very alone.

    Dear Ignorant Internet Man

Don Murphy is one of THREE Producers of the movie, including Tom Desanto and Lorenzo D'Bonaventura. He is listed first in all advertising and posters. The Executive Producer credit is NOT The same as a Producer credit at all. Learn before you post, your stupidity is showing.

Thank you for your vote but as with most of your life it has been noted and ignored.

Mr. Murphy, I wan't a reboot because if you replace Mr. Bay and Shia in the same film series it won't feel the same, I can do without Megan Fox but if Shia and Mike are leaving we might as well get a reboot. Anyway, Megatron and almost all of the Deceps are dead if the movie had ended as the original script intended (Megatron and Optimus forming a truce with Megatron and his armies returning to Cybertron to rebuild it I might have been in favor for a sequel, but with the way DOTM ended in it's entirety I would be in favor of a reboot

Assuming that the above posts are actually by Don Murpy, let me just say that you have proved yourself to me as even more juvenile than I had thought possible.

He might have been confusing DreamWorks for Dreamwave a comic book company that published TF comics until it's demise in 2004.

The Transformers movies are far more divisive than any of those, among fans and critics. Also, those movies stuck much closer to their source material and lost absolutely nothing for it.

This might seem like an odd question but since you are nice enough to drop by and talk with people I figure I'll put it out there. Why bother to go after people you consider "haters"?

As you pointed out just about any film you can name has people who did not like it, but if a film was successful at finding an audience and did well at the box office it seems rather silly to go after the people who did not like it for some reason. Why not just shrug your shoulders and say you can't please every single person every single time but maybe next time we can please a few more.

I love the hypocrisy of some of the fanbase.

Like when they take it personal, call us names, and them get pissed when we respond in kind.

I for one, respond in kind. If you're civil with me, I'm civil with you.

LOL. Lil' Don, you should ask yourself that question before planting it on other people. So precious, Lil' Don.
