Have you got more info on the event? Like will there be any major vendors or people swapping and selling their own collections.
http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=219125514786409#!/event.php?eid=219125514786409 I will be selling there along with some other guys...not sure if there are going to be any comic stores there or not
Wichita TRU has cyberverse ark playsets if anyone is looking. I also managed to pick up possibly the first merchandise for TF Prime. This was located near the entrance with some pirates of the caribbean stuff.
Was just up in Wichita yesterday and went by tru. didn't even notice any prime stuff. but i was in a hurry and just checked the two displays i knew about. Just saw a lot of Scan series Ironhide and Sideswipe. I went up to the Walmart on north rock and they have alot of the walmart exclusives and had one leader ironhide.
That would prolly explain why i didn't see anything then. I tend to not pay attention to posters. just show me the toys.
Walmart on N Rock Rd in Wichita seems to have the best selection of TF. I saw several generations figures including a bunch of blurrs. As for Dotm, they had most of what's on the shelves everywhere else. I did however spot a couple of dlx thundercrackers and dlx nitro bumblebees, as well as 2 human alliance roadbusters.
We have 2 panels at AFW this year! One is a "not just a boys toy" at 10:30 on saturday and then another one at 1:30 that is sure to be alot of fun considering we're all going to be there, and if you were there last year it was lots of fun and we had some great laughs! We are also going to have TONS of info on the TF expo coming up at the end of the month! Please come out and support us! We really enjoy doing this and want to become a "requested group" the more people we have show up and request us the easier it is for us to get "invited" and we don't have to worry about getting the scratch together and worring about who gets the AFW passes LoL
I was there last year, it was great. Sorta was just planning on doing the Friday night swag grab, read manga and call it a weekend. The prices are expensive. I might have to volunteer So I can make it for Saturday, or just pay the 40 for the entire weekend, Tho that means less swag. The TF Expo, I like it. Tho if you would, I would like to nominate "TF-ICT Seeker-Con by the TF-ICT Seekers". Because, Wichita, since 1927 has been coined "The Air Capital of the World" in Manufacturing. Also, We are always Seeking Transformers and obviously, seekers in G1 & the animated series were aircraft and who can hate Slipstream My 20th High School Reunion is that same weekend as TF Expo. So things might be tight, but I will try to make it. By the way I dont have FaceBook or Twitter yet. See ya this weekend.
Don't forget about the Wichita transformer expo this saturday Welcome to Facebook - Log In, Sign Up or Learn More
I picked up the Cyberverse Shockwave set at the Target on Maple and Ridge this afternoon. No more Shockwaves, but they did have a few of the Ratchet sets left.
Oh hey by the way, if no one has seen it Hero Complex is a new wargaming/comic/DND nerd store that is on 2120 N. Woodlawn, Suite 314, Wichita, KS 67208. He carries current marvel / DC toys and shirts. I am trying to talk him into carrying transformers as I see and talk to him many times a week. So if you ever stop by please let him know you would be interested if he sold transformers (theres a 10% discount (20% on purchases over $100) you can purchase for 1 full year for only $10 on anything in store). He is contemplating doing this already but says he hasn't found a good supplier just yet. He has been very busy with his shop just opening and all so now he is getting a chance to catch up. Anyways the owner's name is Derrek and is very pleasant guy to talk to. Feel free to come on by as the place is a sight to see.
Toys R Us in Topeka has 3 Masterpiece Rodimus Prime's left. Took one for myself, one for Ick. TRU and Target also have Ultimate "Iron Butterfly" Prime in stock. Target also has Wheeljack, Scourge, Thundercracker, and Kup in stock.
i live in hays kansas and we have no toys r us close to me....is there anyway a fellow board member could help me get a masterpiece rodimus??? it would be greatly appreciated
What Trey said. After you get him set up i would appreciate some help locating him as well. only 1 toysrus about an hours drive and they seem to rarely get the masterpiece exclusives. willing to pay cost plus reasonable shipping. if you by chance find him in Wichita i can save shipping and meet you somewhere.
Snagged Guzzle last night at the E. Kellogg Walmart here in Wichita. They popped open the case for me and I pulled him out. Sadly, he's only one per case.
