BBTS has sold out, put up a new preorder and sold out again. There may be more around down the road, but if you're really serious about it I wouldn't hesitate too long.

Hey thanks man!! I'm going to check the instructions for these when I get up. But for now. A quick picture of the kit :D  (sorry peaugh, I can't resist this one.[IMG] I just need to find a way to get the matrix to be suspended like it does in the movie.

^ That is freaking badass. Mine should be here on Tuesday, then I'll have to take my time and do it right. And to think I was gonna leave him in a Pile of Loot and ship him once Jetpack Prime became available... Now I can't wait to get my hands on that model.

Anyone else think it is very telling that there is lots of interest in the Prime model and lots of pictures and threads and I have yet to see a single picture of the Bumblebee model?

BB needs paint, that's all there is too it. I've got the kit and the paints. I'll tackle it sometime soon.

Prime could have used some paint as well (and I may break mine apart way down to do that eventually), but he's passable without it- so I did Prime to get my new toy fix.

What's killing me with Prime is I think I have to get an airbrush in order to pull off the yellow under the flames. :(  I did a test with spray paint and don't seem to be able to get a soft transition that small.

I'm not in a big hurry to buy an airbrush, so I have no idea when I'll paint prime.

got mine in today a have slowly been working on him and i have to say compared to some perfect grade gundams i have built, this little booger is a pain to build! there are parts on the feet alone that can make you bleed and i learned that the hard way. there are also areas that don't really go together like the directions say and must be improvised to go on easier without breaking. i was going to buy another to paint as nemesis prime but now ill have to see about that idea after i finish this one.

I don't remember any errors in the directions.

A couple things were tricky though. The biggest problem I've had is getting the front windshields in. After I cracked the red plastic frame I gave up. I'll probably glue them in down the line, but as I may be painting his red parts at some point, I figured I'd wait for now.

that's what i meant to say, it was tricky but it could have been prevented in the designing phase. like the fingers could have had more thought in the them. I was lucky and had some extra hands left over from a fail PG Strike Gundam and just used his far superior fingers with slight mods for fitting.

I get mine at @ 7pm tonight from UPS guy . I absolutely cannot wait to start building it.

If there is any extra slivers of plastic on the windshields I may leave it on there in hopes I don't have the issues everyone else has been having in regards to the windows staying on the chest and not falling out.

Oh that's the matrix he has in his left hand, is it? Whew.. and here I thought OP went and had a little OP time.

OMEGAPRIME1983, you should definitely pimp your kits mate! A bit of weathering here and there would definitely compliment the level of detail that these kits have.

Thanks to Peaugh's review I bit the bullet on this guy last weekend, and he got here yesterday. After 7 fun, yet sometimes incredibly frustrating hours, I got him assembled. Ended up having to glue some of the smaller parts on his upper body in place, and the neck ball joint is really giving me trouble staying in its socket. However, this is easily the best representation of movie Prime we'll probably ever get outside of that $1200+ Sideshow maquette. Well worth the time and money, if you have both to spare. Here's a pic of him with Buster Prime.

I finished building mine yesterday, took me 6 hours to build.

It looks gorgeous to be sure, I just wish the legs would cooperate more. and man does the head area frustrate me, it's so tight and there is hardly any room at all to move it.

Not as poseable as I'd like him to be, but still a great representation of Prime.

I tried to pose the legs to give him more dynamic poses, and the legs themselves just don't have any clearance in the thighs (due to all the bits grinding against other bits)

I feel it was fun to put together, just not fun to pose when finished.
