Wow, for a half second before reading the heading, I though that was a modern Sixshot prototype silouette. That would have really made my day. I Hope this Victory Saber turns out well though. I can't wait to see a real mockup.
As someone who has both the Robot Masters versions of these guys, Cybetron and Destron Decos (ok technically there was a shiny and non shiny cybertron release but that is splitting hairs) and has just finished watching Victory, I definitely would like this. I have only purchased 3rd party add ons in the past, but this would get me to take the plunge. Star Saber is good enought, the full blown Victory Saber I could live without, but would be interested in if produced. Frankly I am Much more interested in a modern version of God Ginrai than Victory Leo, but that is another Thread. But Star Saber, hell yes. I also hope that this motivates Takara/Tomy to do a Reissue.
Sorry for the necrobump but I've been re-watching Victory and wondered why 3rd party companies have tackled him yet and this was the only thing to come up. I'm assuming this project has been delayed/cancelled? And I guess this should be moved to The 3rd party section since that didn't exist at the time this thread was made?
I still think we'll see a Star Saber/Victory Leo/Victory Saber at some point. My guess is TFC or ToyWorld would cover them, given that FP is kinda doing their own thing now & Igear is still working on minibots & the like. My holy grail 3rd party figures would have to be Galvatron, Star Saber, & maybe see what either TFC or ToyWorld could do with Rodimus or Ultra Magnus (even though I love my FP armors).
id like to see fansproject try him. do him as a red plane with a heartmaster, then later release the v-star as an armor set
I'd want an official one from Has/Tak first, but if they're not going to put out one, I'd look at a 3rd party one
