    Heartmaster seems to be making homage to the Breast Force as much as the Powermasters.

    I can certainly see some design cues from City Commander and WW Prime in that guy, but FP pulling out a Breastmaster/Powermaster original character that looks THAT awesome in black shows they're still at the top of their game.

    Unrealistic expectations are unrealistic. You want hundreds of characters to "beef up" the Transformers world? Dude, there's well over a HUNDRED characters from G1, mostly just toys, that could be revisited to keep the ability to introduce "new" characters to the franchise. "Last Stand of The Wreckers" uses this in spades, since I'm sure 99% of all the characters used in that mini-series were based off of very-lesser-known characters from the tail-end of G1. Characters such as the four new wreckers (Pyro, Ironfist, Guzzle, and Rotorstorm) who prior to the series had probably never had an official media appearance ever, or the completely reinvented Overlord, who has always been a big Decepticon player yet never got used.

    Not to mention your desire also would put FP under Hasbro's Legal Division's proverbial gun because there's no way they would let FP get away with remaking the entire G1 lineup when Classics is still on the table, AND the fact FP would effectively kill themselves because they're best known for their amazing add-on kits. They're still testing the waters with fully complete figures, and they're all super-expensive as it is so most people wouldn't even be able to AFFORD all that crap. TFC ExGraver/Not-Devs being really expensive on a per-part-price basis is proof that a full set of self-produced third-party figures is not anywhere near as low as Masterpiece prices.

    nah, i get that part, i used to have a few...Optimus...Slapdash...

    but that the other robot can function as a driver...thats just cool

    and i just noticed that the headmasters did that....

    they need to do more of these....

    Not a Transformers character that I can think of. Looks cool but easy pass.

    3rd party groups, the reason you sell stuff is because you base your toys on Transformers not becauase you make cool transforming robot toys.

    He was standing around fully transformed with a hole in his chest at Botcon, so I assume he's fully functional without the powermaster.

    I also did not see any gearing mechanism to "block" transformation without the powermaster.

    I will wager that this figure will be the worst selling FP figure to date.

    3rd party pricing + no Transformer reference = dud

    I'm as big a FP fan as any hardcore out there but once you remove Transformers from their toys they become meaningless to me. And I bet many many others

    I've always wanted fanprject stuff and never picked any of it up other than the target master, but I think this is one I am really willing to pick up.
