For tf4, i would recommend making it more visually different by using the : pet predacons who can combine pet insecticons who can combine pet seacons who can combine. new leader can be Galvatron. For the combiner toys, just sell cheap deluxe toys separately that can be combined.
This is the finale, and the story definitely says that. Transformers movies print money, but this specific trilogy is over. There will be a reboot, and the reboots will continue until the movies flop. For the reboot, I recommend not killing everyone so you can have actual characters in the sequels, and having a focus on the ROBOTS. Transformers 1 was the best for characterization, because of it's small cast.
For tf4, I would like to see a more realistic take. Transformers are just metal so they can indeed by killed by human weapons, which is why the Decepticon invasion of earth needs to be a secret invasion and Decepticons need to be robots in disguise. We also need more information on the energy needs of Decepticons and how they eat so we have some idea about what resources they need to steal from earth to justify the secret invastion via space bridge. Some explanation is needed about why the needed resources can't be found on other planets or maybe they have already looked in other planets and earth is just one more step and they are indeed looking at other planets as well. I also would like some clarity on how Transformers are created and I also prefer Transformers to have sexual reproduction to help justify the female Transformers. As for origins, I would just use the Quintessons as the creators of both the Transformers species and human species to explain why the Transformers species have humanoid shapes. Primus and Prima would be the Adam and Eve of the Transformers. The first Primes are like Cain, Abel, Seth, etc. Unicron, Fallen, Alpha Trion, etc. will all be part of the first Primes. Some Transformers have jets and can fly, and some can't fly. Megatron will be able to fly whether he is a robot, a car or a jet. Transformers who can't fly can still fly using jetwings, space ships, etc.
Transformes 4? I THINK SO AND SINCE TF: DARK OF THE MOON DID SO WILL THEY WILL MAKE TF: 4 BUT THEY NEED TO PUT IN UNICRON IN THEY SHOULD CALLED THE FORTH ON RISE OF UNICRON! UNICRON PLUS I ALSO HEARD RUMORS THEY ARE MAKING FUTURE MOVIE OF THE TF FRANSISE! SO LETS SAY THEY DID MAKE A REBOOT AND THEY WILL PUT BACK MEGGATRON IN AGAIN!! I SAY NO REBOOT MAKE MORE OF THE BAYFORMERS HE IS A GREAT DIRECTOR!!! WE JUST HAVE TO SEE IN THE COMING YEAR??!!
REBOOT. Lets have this end as a trilogy and in a few years just do a reboot, like with what is happening with the Spider Man series.
According to whom ???? Stop making shit up..there has not been a talk about any rebot and no TF 4. this one is just out, no decisions will be taken untill Hasbro see how much this movie makes. And the love the movie design generate amongs reguler consumers aka not ous dorks then you relaly think they will change it?? Please. and to all rebooters. Yes is easy to reboot spiderman. He always looks the freaking same and has enough villans to reboot with new villans 10 times over. Yes it is easy to reboot Xmen, because there is alot of early history that is not showed and all other crap. Rebooting the Tf would mean new designs and that..as succsecfull the movies are and the kids relate to they will not change that. Unless TF 3 really really blows box wise whitch I doubt.
If they went the re-boot route, I could see a new start that could work. For example, the first film could feature say Ultra Magnus leading Kup, Wheeljack, Jetfire (G1 style design) Cliffjumper, Hound, Prowl etc.. and Shockwave in charge of maybe the Combaticons or Constructicons (done right this time!) with Skywarp and Thundercracker in tow. This would lend a fresher feel to the line-ups whilst still feeling G1. The big guns (Optimus, Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Ironhide etc) could have cameos (on communications transmission monitors perhaps) setting up their introduction in the second film, as this would have everyone hyped up for their return. G1/WFC-style aesthetics taken to the next level would be a must, as would a far greater emphasis on 'bot screentime. Tonally, I would aim for the darker moments of the animated movie, ie the Autobot City attack. I think the next version of movie Transformers should hew much closer to G1 in general in fact.
1. Damn, he just stated what he thought was most likely, he didn't say he had a personal memo/phone call from Paramount, chill. 2. Rebooting Spider-man, Batman or TF would all be relatively the same. You tweak the designs without betraying them and you write it with a new tone/style which would be easy for something as vast yet simultaneously simple as TF. 3. X-Men 1st Class isn't a reboot, it fits in perfectly with current movie continuity (not to mention that cameo during the recruitment phase).
a movie without BB and Optimus...aint happening sorry. To much money in this to not have them in. You wont get a movie without Optimus and BB.
THIS. Give it time to breath for a while, out of respect for the work that did go into these despite some hick ups. Bring in someone new, get a new take on how they get here, how we meet them and what they're after this time. Do a reinterpretation of the general designs, just like the new Spider-man suit or the Nolan Bat suit, its still clearly the character but with a new flavor and off ya go.
I understand everyone wants to see another movie. I sure as hell do. Its just funny how the third just opened in theatres and alot of people are already asking about a fourth. It'll be a while before they get a fourth one if they decide to do one, so you'll drive yourself crazy thinking and anticipating it. Let's just let DOTM sink in for a while, before we get deep into TF4 discussions
If DotM does as well if not surpasses RotF, I think we'll get a little bit of both. A new director and a new cast, probably put 10 to 20 years in the future so the populace either lives side by side with the Autobots, or they went into hiding like in Prime and people have started to forget. The past three movies mentioned, but that's about it. New models for Prime, Bumblebee, etc. and maybe a cameo by Shia for two minutes in older makeup. If the movie does poorly, then I think we'll have 4+ years before they bring it up again, and we'll get a full reboot. Personally, I would like to see the same universe continued, just with a new crew and reformatted bots. I think there is an amazing story the general public will continue to be interested in if it just gets the right director and writers for the job.
I want it to start with Vector Prime telling the audience about the vastness of the multiverse, how many possibilities exist parallel to us, and that he would show us a new one.
The movie's intake only determines if the option holder (which is spielberg) wants to push for another, not hasbro. Until the Option expires or Hasbro buys it back then they really don't have any say on whether there will be another live action movie or not. I have no clue how long Spielberg owns the option for but he did push them out pretty fast for the amount of work needed.
