Nemesis Prime would be an interesting idea. Though doesn't Sentinel Prime fill that role? You know, he is an Evil Prime.

There's also all the hidden Seekers that we found out about in ROTF.

No all of them are going to be nice Decepticons like Jetfire I'm sure.

 

A tank and a jet in the NEST arsenal transform, combining into Overlord(Or Overload, whatever), immediatley going after Prime and beating him enough to get the matrix, and using it combines the remains of Sentinel and Megatron to form Galvatron. Galvatron uses the matrix to turn Shockwave into Cyclonus and mass-produces the Sweeps from Protoforms. Add in Starscream's ghost and I dont think this would be half bad.  

5th movie could have a war-torn Galvatron desperate not to lose yet again, calling on Unicron.

You know... they could still do Galvatron but not as a recreated Megatron. In some incarnation Galvatron was his own character and not a reformated Megs. Why not introduce Galvatron as a totally new Character all together? It would bring a fresh start to a new trilogy with the Cons being led by a much more ruthless leader. He could even be one of the Hatchlings that was with Megs in DOTM. Doc and Igor would kind of be his new caretakers and teach him in the ways of the now dead Megatron. He would respect Megatron but grow to be 10 times as evil and tyrannic. Other Hatchlings could turn into Scourge, Cyclonus and the new Sweeps. This way other Autobots like Ultra Magnus can be introduced as well.

Here's the options, as I see it:

*Galvatron as a new character. He's not insane, but wants to spread chaos.

*Sixshot, Thunderwing, and Bludgeon as Galvatron's lieutenants.

*Autobots who had "taken refuge among the stars" have arrived: Kup, Prowl, Hot Rod, Springer, Brawn, a few new Autobots.

*Conflict: Decepticons have been detected leaving Earth in droves. Their destination: Io, one of the moons of Jupiter. Optimus must lead an expedition to discover their intent. What he doesn't know is that the vicious Galvatron has named himself the new leader of the Decepticon cause and is overseeing the construction of a stronghold in Earth's solar system. Prime and his Autobots are unaware of this, and encounter Prowl and his team while en route. "

Upon reaching Io, Bumblebee, who's been left in charge in Prime's absence, contacts Prime and tells him that Earth is under attack. The activity on Io was merely a lure to get the Autobots to leave Earth unprotected. What are Galvatron's intentions, and how will the Autobots defeat him and his forces?

Well megatron died but his spark wasnt destroyed so... I dont know, i just dont see how it could go on unless theres a prequel.

 

I think a fourth movie could show whatever is left of cybertron being rebuilt by the surviving decepticons(protoforms and such). A new decepticon leader rises. Galvatron.

The autobots on earth coexist with the humans in the open. Not in hiding. New autobots join their forces on earth.

Earth could be facing the issue of resource depleation and enlist the autobots to help either find resources to stableize earth or find an earth-like planet to become the new home for humans and help rebuild.

The autobots could find the only planet in resonable distance that could be the new home for humans and autobots alike. The decepticons threated to depleat this planet in order to restore cybertron. The autobot will have to choose whether to abandon the planet in search of another or wage yet another war against the decepticons.

Just an idea. Could work to start a new trilogy.

 

There's plenty of bad guys left in the Transformers lucky-dip bag to choose from, I'm glad that they might have to go with some of the other characters rather than Megatron, Screamer etc...though maybe we'll get a Starscream's Ghost in TF4? lol

Also remember, that Galvatron doesn't have to be an evolved Megatron, look at the IDW and Beast Wars versions!

plus it wouldn't hurt if they use different Autobots on the whole, like just keep Optimus as a main Autobot and get another 3/4 to act as his main troops (with the other surviving Autobots from DOTM appearing in backgrounds or big fight scenes)

 

No to JJ Abrams reboot... 2 hours of human dialogue before a fleeting glimpse of a scared & homesick autobot in the shadows climbing into a spaceship  

 

At the of DotM my freind and I where talking about a 4th movie. I had imagned Megatrons body and head had been taken from wherever the Autobots put it. then on a ship orbiting earth, megatrons is being worked on by scapel or relative Decepticon with Commander Onslaut watching. After Scapel tells Onslaut his report about Megatrons bodys condition, Vortex would walk in stating that after examining scans of Megatrons body, that there is a possibility of reactivating the Allspark pieces inside Megatrons chest and reviving him, but they need a certain device and a good energy sorce of some kind. Dark Energon maybe. The rest of movie would be the Cons trying to get those devices, Megatrons revival , final battle and then have Megs live and come back in #5.

 

I'd say Nemesis Prime, created by Unicron and using Sentinel's dead corpse to create Nemesis Prime.

 

Anything but Unicron. Please. That would end badly the way I picture it.
Galvatron, Straxus, Deathsaurus, or Thunderwing would be cool.

 

Possibly a time loop, parallel universe or just time travel.
It looked like Cybertron was imploding into a blackhole and classic time travel. Probably back to when 2013 Autobots try to stop the Cybertronion Wars 100's or 1000's of years ago.
May make things better of by the very act or by returning they cause the civil war?

One word: Reboot

I know lots of people look down on this idea but really this trilogy is over. Let's not ruin the decent (not great but decent) place that this one decided to end in.

But I hope they wait a decent amount of time before going ahead and doing this.

 

Why can't the 4th movie take place in between ROTF and DOTM? That is a span of 4 years. You wouldn't need Sam (after all he said he saved the world "only" twice before DOTM) and you could still use most of the Decepticons.

Did the comics do anything about those 4 years?
