Shockwave's death, I almost cried out of the stupidity of it all and the humiliation his character suffered.

 

I have to admit I let out a little whimper when Ironhide went down  

 

I agree, IRONHIDE rusted/melted to death was like a middle finger to such an iconic character.

 

To me it was when the Autobots showed back up when it looked like Sam and Epps were about to get it. When that ship got knocked down and Optimus ejected that shell and said "We'll kill them all", that was awesome. It wasn't an emotion of sadness, but anxiety.

I see lots of people complaining about the absence of a proper reaction to Ironhide's death from Prime.
I haven't seen the movie yet (monday I will) but I think you are overreacting. Prime showed his anger by letting is wrath loose on the enemies that led to his friend's death. He answered his death with REVENGE (Kill'Em ALL!!!)

mgatron's death(saw a bootleg on utube of last ten mins of movie, couldnt fucking resist!).so far,its megatron for me. he proposed a truce, then got his ENTIRE HEAD REMOVED! when i saw smoke coming from where his head was i felt alittle emotional, seeing he looked like a failure talking with carly.felt sorry for him.

 

Ironhide's death: despair!, and then no autobot mentioned him  
Que's death: I mean... he was just some minutes in screen and I liked how he was portrayed and then BOOM and some tears were in my face

Shockwave's death: WHY!? humans? why not the wreckers! at least to kill somebody important and not just nameless decepticons   they poped his ONLY eye out and then he was shot down u.u

 

I just came back from watching the film. I spoiled myself rotten so not that many scenes hit me hard.

The one scene that struck out the most was what Optimus did. I know that what Megatron and Sentinel did was unforgivable, but when I saw how brutally he took them out and stood silently afterwards I thought, "Jesus...it's like he's covered in blood!!"

Q was kind of pathetic in the end, doing anything to survive. Bumblebee nearly being shot in the back of the head was sadder because he had resigned himself to the fact he was going to die. But didn't thanks to two little scrap drones.

 

The first ten minutes of the film. The mockumentary made the film look a lot more serious than it turned out to be.

 

Then the Autobots were exiled, i swear i had tears on my eyes. T.T And when Bee is about to get executioned, i was begging with all my soul that he didnt die, that would be just cruel. T.T

 

Hey, if you look like robot Einstein, you're morally obligated to do everything in your power to make sure you survive to preserve and spread your awesomeness.

 

Plus survival instinct.

 

Deffinately Bee almost being executed, or the Autobot's launch. Ironhide's death made me sad, too.

Also Optimus finally doing in Megatron. You could see the rage building in Optimus as Megatron taunted him with the whole "where would you be without me?" stuff. When he turned on Sentinel I was all "Oh yeah, now you get yours you piece of shit."

 

Agree on both points. After seeing IH kicking ass in all 3 films, to see him go like this was awful and heart-wrenching. It seems like the only way he COULD die was to be betrayed like that, point-blank surprise. Plotwise it didn't make much sense (why did SP have to do it? he could have turned coat once they were inside, which is where the pillars were anyway). I think it was done just to make the audience say "Woah SP is pretty evil" so that when Optimus finishes him in the end, it is both satisfying and justified.

Q didn't get enough screen time to make his death particularly emotional to me, but it was definitely sad to see.

The Sam-Bumblebee scenes were also well-done/emotional. Have to admit they did a really good job with the CGI to convey the emotion on 'Bee's face.
