Yeah..Ironhide...incinerated by 2shots...worse then Jazz...most exciting was Megs followed by Soundwave.
Bee kicked butt..

 

Ironhide. Even though I am a HUGE Decepticon fan, I thought his death was actually kinda sad, in the fact you could see him rust away before your eyes...

 

Ironhide, the way he melted teared me, the way his head fell off....... :'(

 

I remember Brain's saying "We're gonna die." but I sort of thought that since he pointed it out like that he WASN'T going to die. I'll check it out the second viewing but I could've sworn we saw them again.

 

I'd have to say most brutal to me was Soundwave.Getting uppercut in the chest just to have Bee's fist transform in there to blast off Soundwave's head through his own chest,yeah pretty brutal.Most sad was Wheel-Q.He tried to beg,even tried to make truce,yet they just killed him,then to have Bee "crying" over his body was pretty emotional.

Most dissapointing was Starscream.I mean cmon,he basically got beat by a three stooges prank.lol.And yes the best for last,the most impactful,Ironhide.I think it hit people the most for the fact he was the toughest guy on the autobots team,and he gets taken out by treachery.

 

Devastator, followed by Megs.

Perhaps the most disappointing thing in the whole movieverse for me.

 

I really thought so too...so much so that I never even considered that they might be dead. I'm fairly certain they were seen after that crash.

 

Ironhide.

 

Ironhide by far. The way he died was sad. It was brutal and I did not expect it to be like that.

 

Ironhide. Jesus Sentinel Prime you're a dick just like your Animated counterpart

You know what would have been awesome? If Sentinel Prime said "such heroic nonsense" as he did it.

I'm gonna go with Ironhide on this one.

He got killed by somebody he respected, then to top that all off, he died in the most agonizing way possible. Cosmic Rust.

 

Ironhide, eaten alive by rust.

 

I thought Starscream's death was the best. It really brought out his cowardly character, it was hilarious seeing him trying to scrape the bomb out of his eye on the ground, and he went out with a bang. Couldn't have asked for a better death for my favourite character  

But to stay on topic, I'll have to go with Ironhide, only because it was so abrupt. And none of the Autobots seem to acknowledge his death throughout the rest of the film. Megatron is a close second. He didn't even have a chance to put up a fight!

 

Also, the Dreads should have been added to this list.

They died horribly and very gruesomely, bloody fluid splattering everywhere.

 

Don't get me started on fluids.man every bot in this movie was either spitting or drooling.lol

 

Hands down Ironhide. He's consistently been one of my top five Autobots; absolutely, gut churning brutal. R.I.P 'Hide!!!!!

also, are we not counting Optimus' death in ROTF? I know he gets resurrected but still being stabbed in the back and then simultaneously having his spark shot out I thought was pretty harsh too.

 

Tell me about it. Starscream really could have used a drool cup, IMO.

 

I think I was most surprised by Jazz's death. Very unexpected.

Just saw DOTM, and honestly - I didn't even blink when Starscream died, even though I've been a Starscream fan since 1984.

 

Ironhide was my favorite movieverse character. At first when he was shot up I was like, well, maybe he'll live. Then it's as if Bay heard me and showed him turning to dust, to say "no he's really dead." On that note, what was up with him turning to dust like that? That hasn't happened before or since in the movies.
