Solid 9 for me as well. The more I think about it, the more I like it. Seeing it again tonight. It was just soo good! It still can't beat #1, cause of the nostalgia attatched to it everytime I hear the score or see clips. But a very solid film, very satisfied (a teeny tiny bit dissapointed for the death of major villans, but that's just pushing it for me).
The entire Chicago scene was amazing, seeing Soundwave was a delight and I enjoyed the SP/OP relationship. But dreadful scenes like the Wang/Brains/Simmons knocks it down a few points. 8/10 for the amazing 3D scenes at th end. I love those 'Con airships! (7/10 for annoying characters, plot holes and throw away bots.)
Loses two because I loved the novel. If they had adhered to that for the most part, this would have been the first time I had ever given a movie a 5 star. Still waiting
I enjoyed it. I know some people complain about the humor and "cheesiness," but I thought it was pretty well done in this movie. Anyway, I gave it a 9 out of 10, but really thought it was an outstanding movie.
5/10. Felt a bit rushed and scenes were cut out and/or changed (compared to the novelization) contributing to the detriment of the movie. Being a TF fan though, I'd still pay for and see it again!
