He did the same thing for Bladerunner. He is such a little media whore. Imagine what wouldn't happen if he wouldn't tweet for one day? Ha.
35% on Rotten Tomatoes. Wow. I'm still gonna watch and enjoy it though. Transformers: Dark of the Moon - Rotten Tomatoes
@Super_Megatron I know it's a few hours away now but can tell us how much development there is with the main Autobots? Character wise and do characters like Ratchet have more to do and say this time round? thanks man.
Humans suck sometimes. Seriously, we're such a self involved species. Maybe its an age thing... I don't know. Maybe growing up with Johnny 5, R2 D2 and OP taught us to respect self aware consciousness no matter its shell, but comments like that really piss me off, not even about TFs, just in general. He must have not cared about Wall-E either, because if he did, he'd be a hypocrite. What happens say, for preposterous examples sake, some alien race lands that doesn't look like us. Are we going to just go, well, you don't look like us so I guess we don't have to respect you even though you've mastered space travel enough to get here and we're lucky we can get to our own moon. Its the same mentality that let's empirical western cultures land in India or the early Americas and go, oh look at the silly people who don't look like us, we must be superior and therefore do not need to respect them. God humans suck sometimes.
I do and I know someone else who does - I know it's odd - but that's just me I'm often more interested in how a Movie is made than the Movie itself unless the Movie contains and idea that interests me enough to like it in it's own right - for that reason I often like Movies other people don't like (Event Horizon, Hellboy, Howard the Duck) or have never even heard of (My Science Project). But then Bare in mind I look at DVD as a product and a DVD with Extras is better than one with none in my view.
Was it because he finally saw Scott's cut? Or he just went back on his comments on the theatrical cut? Cuz they are very different quality levels, lol.
I don't think every single critic hates Bay, but the vast majority of them don't just hate him, they absolutely despise him and want him to fail. And plenty of them hate the whole Transformers concept and think it is cheesy.
It's because it's now considered a "classic" so he had to redo his opinion out of fear of looking foolish.
RT: >33% overall >94% want to see it lol the public at large gives less fucks than N.W.A. Continue arguing, children
The NY Times review is by far the most balanced and realistic review of this film I've read yet. Well written, fair, realistic and with some real thought put into it without being a pseudo intellectual derpbag.
Some people have unreal expectations when it comes to things such as action films. For those people, I would like to make a suggestion that they switch to decaf and try to find at least a small amount of pleasure out of something in life before they die from the congestive heart failure that they have caused themselves from a lifetime of stress and worry.
*reads* Well... I more prepared for this movie than ever! Bring it on! That read was hilarious! "...visually ugly film... wooden characters." Wow, did he watch it blind? Perfect, just how I like it. Screw the critics.
It just makes my insides all warm and fuzzy when the entertaining movies make all the money and the 'good' films get the critics in a tizzy. In actuality, the critics should be thanking these 'dumb summer movies' for keeping the movie industry going and allowing them to dry hump movies like 'Born to be Wild' and 'Cave of Forgotten Dreams'.
I consider it unlikely that DOTM is not better than Green Lantern. even if you just pick the final 40 minutes out alone. Or perhaps it's better to have a reason to dislike something than it is to just be bored by it. So a contentious Movie or one with whopping great errors in can still entertain. a snorefest just does nothing. I agree sending the wrong sort of lass to review an Action Movie is as pointless as sending a bloke to review Bride Wars.
