Is the Ultimate Optimus Figure in the movie at all?

Nope, his robot flight mode is more like Jetwing, as others have pointed out.

 

Very Very surprised Hasbro chose to go with the new *rendition* of him. I wish they would release a version of Jetwing here in the states, getting him online is gonna be so expensive. I understand WHY, new figure = something people don't already have, but if its not anything from the movie itself why bother?

Who knows? They might. After watching the movie I'm looking forward to getting Jetwing Prime, Takara stuff tend to get here via small hobby shops, relatively affordable too.

 

The best Prime figure would be having a trailer that transforms into the Jetwing pack, and not some butterfly faerie wings. Prime's trailer transforms into a field-armory, where he has a shitload of weapons and his jetwing pack. The scene allowed me to shout out, "So thats where his trailer goes!" I received laughs for my meme as well.

I'm still not convinced "Butterfly" prime isn't mistransformed.

 

I hope hasbro can sell a trailer with wings, weapons. shield and guns inside. We don't really need a transforming trailer since it is simpler to just get the weapons from inside the trailer. Or let the trailer open up to show the weapons so they are easier to grab.

Isn't that a Takara exclusive item you are describing there? I swear i saw a prime with a trailer like that, smaller than voyager class or something

 

Oh man, if they were to release just a trailer for leader class Optimus that transformed into his field armoury, I'd be ALL OVER THAT!!!  

 

The more movie accurate trailer seems to be the Cyberverse Action set Optimus Prime Armored Weapons Platform. This trailer opens up.

 

Prime needs more guns period. He needs a fricken missile launcher and some other goodies in that thing. I wonder if the cyberverse trailer would fit the cyberverse jet parts?

 

There is no butterfly prime., Unfortunately.

I am not going to buy that set. period. very disappointed. maybe the next director for the TF movie from a power ranger series will get to use that idea.

The trailer transforms into an O thing that mounts all kind of weapons... and one of the weapon is the blade... so no more blade from the arm... WTF....
