Michael Rye as a Transformer (in G1)

    You guys might not be as familiar with Michael Rye as you are with other 80's voice actors. But I can tell you that both before and during the 80's he was one of the best along with Pete and Franky.

    Anyway, if the guys at Sunbow had him do a voice for G1, who do you think he could've done?

    I think he would've been perfect as Cyclonus (if not Roger C. Carmel) or Alpha Trion (if not John Stephenson). Actually, I think Alpha Trion would be the best choice. Mike often did lots of similar characters. I think Unicron would've also been good. And perhaps Perceptor.

    Anyone else?

    would've made a good (insert random hasbro made up on the spot transformers name here) not saying hes a bad voice actor but hasbro would just make something up i'd say he'd make a good decepticon though

    I guess. And indeed he is NOT a bad VA at all. Had he been in G1, he would've been just as good as all the others were. ;)  He certainly already was in all the other 80's cartoons he appeared in.
