he's not speaking opinion. he is using his own contrived logic to tell us why it is bad. no one here has seen DOTM, we don't know if its good or bad.

saying things like the movie switching to 3D is a sign of it being bad is nonsense. implying that ILM is rushing special effects, etc is also not a thing for us to say. we dont know their schedule, what they feel comfortable with workload wise.

none of that is opinion. you can say you think the movie is going to be bad, thats fine. but telling us why its an inevitable conclusion is.

No one knows what will happen. The movie could suck - we won't know till we've plunked down our hard earned cash. I don't think it will, I'm looking forward to seeing it.

But why bash a movie you haven't seen based on circumstantial evidence? So Bay wanted to wait, and not do 3D? Maybe he rose to the challenge anyway and worked his ass off, because he takes pride in something that has his name on it? Save the bashing until you've seen the movie, then scream your opinion for all who care to listen.

The marketing isn't as aggresive as ROTF because this movie has a lot of twists and turns and they're counting on the element of surprise! With ROTF we alredy KNEW the whole of the movie just by the trailers.

    In fact
look at the Sentinel Prime thing! They've been markething him as a good guy who teams up with Optimus to fight the Shockwave who's labeled as the supreme bad-guy. Yet here we stand with Shokwave being a mere fodded with Sentinel being the big bad! Not to mention that when Carly's car turns out to be a Decepticon all along it will be a huge surprise to the public!

They are counting on that surprise. The first one had the whole "seeing something like that for the first time" and this one has plot twist and turns while having the action of the second one, except better.

People will love this movie, there is no way in hell that it won't be a huge success!

That is what a customer like me sees on actual footage on trailers, stills and so on that the studios, Paramount in this case released.
Since when it wasn't allowed to question and point out flaws one sees about products?
So I shouldn't compare what has been released and I shouldn't question anything and just buy this new product regardless of its actual quality?
Plot and characters wise the official novel is out already and although some things will be different on the movie just like for the first two, overall I already know flaws and issues and how it is worse than the first two. When I read the official novels for the first two movies I was really excited waiting for the movie to hit theaters.. this time after having read the official novel I was pretty disappointed.
So then I was hoping the movie CGI would have been enough to save it but more stuff Paramount kept releasing and more flaws I kept seeing. There have been stills from the movie that look like they were painted..and that is actual final rendering footage, promotional stills sent out by Paramount thru Yahoo! and others. I never ever found so many flaws on anything released for the first two movies, something went wrong at ILM too and the useless 3D gimmick is main obvious factor, just to raise ticket prices by lowering actual product quality.
Should I be just an happy customer not ever trying to question anything and just pay in silence and tell everyone how cool it looks everything regardless of the issues and flaws I can see then ?

Then just don't see it, ya big baby. Nobody really gives a shit about your $10. :lol

Point is, everybody else is looking forward to it, and your..."facts" aren't going to convince them otherwise.

He's also pushing his opinions like "ROTF was a great movie that got bashed because people were paid to bash it" as if they were fact.

This is what I've gathered from him:

    1. TF1 and TF2 were amazing movies that were only called bad by critics because they were paid to say so. Critics calling a movie bad is a direct insult to fans who liked the movie.

    2. DOTM is going to suck because of completely hypothetical and uncofirmed continuity issues due to Megan Fox not being in it. It will also suck because Bay had to make the movie a year earlier than planned (even though the production time would still be the same). It will also suck because of blah blah blah preconceived notions of reviews/lack of reviews that have no basis in fact or reality, at least not yet.

Yeah, sorry, I'm not going to fault anyone for giving this guy grief. When he reaches a rational/logical arguement that's not rife with flaws, bias, and dickery, I'll give him a chance.

I enjoyed ROTF, at least until the 2nd or 3rd viewing and I could no longer endure the horrible dialog scenes between the humans. As much fun as it was to see in the theater, I would never consider it a good movie due to bad pacing, annoying characters, questionable humor at times, constant plotholes and inconsistencies, and disappearing characters. It was messy and lazy, and could have been easily improved with better editing and continuity. Of course, this is just my opinion of the movie, but it just goes to show that saying ROTF was really good and all critics were paid to bash it, just to support your view that the film is good is just hilariously stupid.

Are you serious? Paramount is releasing more clips, trailers and tv spots than they ever did for any of the first two movies including Transformers2.
Also the plot minus some changes was mainly known for every movie being official novel released weeks before actual movies hit theaters.

Are y'all bitching about a radio hosts review? I thought some of you were going on about how critics reviews don't matter, but a radio critics does?

Or, hold on. If you're bitching you had to sit through Bieber before a quick review on a radio show, then I get you.

Chojin, you are entitled to your opinion. However, you are not entitled to your own set of facts.

Yes I guess that why we've seen so much footage of the Wreakers, Sentinel Prime, Shockwave, Soundwave and Megatron...oh wait!

Dude, there are only 2 previous movies. When you say "the first two movies", of course that includes Transformers 2. What else could it include?

Also, your claim about clips is not true. There was a ton of footage from both movies that was put out there, on par with Transformers 3. Toy pictures and renderings were released far ahead during the production schedule of Movie 2 compared to that of Movie 3. We knew what the robots in the first trailer looked like before the first trailer was even put out there.
