They look so cool. It's almost Animated all over again.

The BB looks like a Gravity Bot(not a good thing) but the Prime and Heatwave are pretty cool for preschool toys.

Dig the Animated look but it seems that Optimus just has elbow articulation like his Kre-O basic counterpart. Ah..

I like these and will get them for my son (although at almost 4 he might be getting a little old for them) but still maintain with very little effort/design changes it seems like they could have been SIGNIFICANTLY better.

(mostly i'm just thinking pull-out instead of flip-out shoulders so they could have a little bit of forward/back arm movement and more normal proportions.)

Edit: also kind of wierd that all 3 have a different aesthetic to their headsculpts: Prime is cartoony G1, Bumblebee is TFA and Heatwave looks more like what i think of when i think "super hero squad/rescue squad" type pre-school toys ~ cartoony human-ish face in a helmet.

Cute. Very cute. I'm surprised they made Optimus look so G1.

Heh, they all look pretty nice. I might get OP and BB even though I'm way too old for them at 16. Still looking forward to this show though, I hope the target audience likes it :D

Hello, I posted this same piece of news yesterday, but it was mysteriously taken away. I even posted a thread in tech support asking about it:

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/tfw2005-tech-support/420464-missing-thread.html

Was it wrong for me to have posted it? Please let me know so I can avoid breaking rules in the future.

On the Rescue Bots themselves, I'll certainly pick them up! :)

Any idea on price point? I wanna get prime and bee for my 4th old, but not if they are $20 each like the batman preschool toys.

webz I lol'd at your sig

Have any of you ever felt weird being an older teen or an adult buying toys? I mean I don't care but sometimes when I walk through the Target with a Leader Sentinel Prime, it goes through my head like what?

No offense or anything that's just how I feel after the excitement of the hunt is gone for the remainder of the time I'm there haha

Bumblebee looks horrifying. I like a lot of the "kiddie" style figures' looks but so far these aren't that appealing to me.

I do kinda agree ~ considering he's sort of the marquee character for TF these days, i kinda feel the failed on him for this line ~ i think if his car top rotated 180° so that it was pointed down (maybe an automorph?) he'd look a lot better in bot mode.

I just realized - Waves 1 AND 2 (in one size class I assume) equals three toys total? Feels like we're back to 1997 here. :)

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm going to call that Heatwave Big Red. I don't know why, but he just reminds me of Big Red when I look at him.....
