Personally, I do hope it was the culmination of her remarks and behavior and not just the Hitler remark that is clearly being taken out of context. Its obvious that she was just calling Bay a dictator on the set, nothing anti-semitic about it. I have a hard time believing that Spielberg is that hyper-sensitive.

I think there is more to this. After all she made the Hitler remark in Sept 2009 and wasn't fired until May of 2010

 

Either Paramount is desperate or I bet Paramount is going to have some legal troubles after what you revealed here and no one told anything about before.

It's not that attacking Megan Fox is going to turn Rosie any prettier and raise boxoffice results for Transformers3.

And I'll say this since I'm talking about Megan Fox. I utterly despise anyone who simply saw these movies simply to fantasize about her laying on the hood of a Camaro. Shame on all of you! Last I checked, the titles weren't "Megan Fox and the Transformers" or "Megan Fox and the Revenge of the Fallen". This is something that irritated me about one of my college roommates because it was all he cared about. He actually told me he could not enjoy DOTM simply because Megan Fox was removed. And then those of you who say "Rosie isn't hot enough", who the hell cares? IT'S NOT ABOUT ONE FEMALE ACTOR. It is about the Autobots and the Decepticons. End of story.

 

Jews take things very personal when it comes to these things. It will take more generations for it to blow over.

I'm not Jewish and I found that comparison completely disgusting. Michael might be demanding in regards to his work and expect the best from his actors but to compare a film director to a piece of shit that committed mass genocide is uncalled for, imo.

There are shirts one can get in Hollywood set and crew circles that say 'You don't scare me, I've worked for James Cameron', and pre-Avatar, that was not hyperbole talking. I may not like Michael Bay's style of directing or many of the films he's made, but he is a firm leader on set, not a dictator. I've never heard stories of him nearly drowning cast members (Ed Harris, Abyss) or suffering cast walkouts (Aliens, Titanic) or alienating one of Hollywood's best score conductors (James Horner).

Bay runs a tight ship, Cameron a dictatorship. Believe me, world of difference.

To be fair, comparing dictatorial bosses (fairly or unfairly) to people like Hitler, Stalin or Mussollini has passed into common lexicon in many places. Doesn't mean it wasn't stupid of her to say that or that it's a really offensive comparrison but she's not the first (or last) person who's gonna refer to her boss as a mini-Hitler.

 

Oh brother. As several others have already pointed out, passively comparing people like bosses to Nazis and/or Hitler and/or Satan and/or "slave drivers" etc etc etc is a commonplace turn of phrase used for generations, and 99.9% of the time is never meant to be anywhere close being literal. Someone would have to be a daft f'ing idiot to actually think Megan Fox's comments about Bay being like Hitler at times meant anything even remotely close to being a tyrannical Jew killer hellbent on world domination of a blonde haired blue eyed Aryan race. By that mindset, getting bent out of shape about Fox's comment should be met with an equally offended reaction to Bay's alleged "stereotypical racist" depiction of the Twins or when he referred to Shia's hair in TF1 looking "too Nappy" in his DVD commentary instead of this convenient pick & choose your allegiance bullshit based on who you happen to personally like more.

It's bloody mind boggling how hyper sensitive and easily offended people can get (and are) whenever lemming group mentality kicks in thanks to the internet & TV telling them what is or is not supposedly acceptable because someone's feelings might get hurt.
