Y'know, this makes me think back to Strarf's comment about being pregnant in a whole new light. Back then, we didn't seriously think you had gone there. But now that Strarf explicitly went into that area, or all the crazy things that this implies, that comment suddenly becomes a lot more risque' in context I also must find a way to reference this relevation in my comic, since my Battle Ravage and Tigris are a couple as well. I've always been meaning to do an awkwardly embrassed look for my Tigris ever since you started changing up Strarf's expressions. Actually, would it be possible for you to do a small tutorial about how to get figures like Shinkis to have their facial expressions changed like how you did Strarf's "embarassed" look? I've been meaning to try and figure out how to do it myself but I can't figure out how to move the irises since they're partially cut off by the eyebrow area.
Oh Primus, I forgot about that comment. Strarf's comments didn't bother me in this update, but the two of them combined just makes Hot Rod's reaction all the worse. He wasn't just surprised she said that, but could he have been scared she was telling the truth? >shudder<
...I'm not even sure how that would WORK, honestly. It's not like Shinkis have all that much room to toss in replication equipment. Considering they're sold it'd make damn good sense to not include it, if it was possible. Now, happy fun time recreational bits? Sure, why not. I'm sure some potential owners would enjoy the idea of their shinkis enjoying quality time, together. (While they watched and directed, knowing certain otaku types)
...you've never watched a teen sex comedy in your life, have you? And so an eternal question thought never answerable...has been answered:
Hey now, there's no need to call us sick and say we need professional help. We're all perfectly normal people here... regardless of how we tend to act and post on the boards. Besides that, this isn't not exactly a kids site, given that the majority of the board members are adults. So there's not much you can do about it whenever we go off posting things like our poking fun into Pol's Strarf's implying how her relationship with Hot Rod works.
Remind me to start putting censor bars on any risque Shinkis that I get. Since when did this comic turn into a topic about Shinki "parts," anyway? That's still hilarious.
I'm trying to think of something that hasn't already been said, a joke that hasn't already been made....and I've failed. On the other hand, I can't be the only one who went to their Alt Hot Rod and sat down for a good ten minutes transforming the thing back and forth trying to figure out if there actually was a "helpful mid-point" there... ...I can't have been the only one trying to figure that out. Right? Guys?
Given that we're all on a website dedicated to a franchise of children's toys, I think I can say that there's something abnormal about you all. You're adults collecting children's toys. I'm a child collecting children's toys. ...Granted, I'm not exactly what you might call "normal," either, but I at least do not (intentionally) drive others towards the brain bleach.
There is nothing abnormal with adults collecting toys -- heck, Hasbro even came out with a toy line or two geared for adult collectors. So that doesn't gives you the right to say that we're sick and abnormal, that we need professional help.
Tell that to the people on (e)M(pty)TV. The stuff being discussed compared to the things those morons over there do doesn't come close to even being sensitive or light. Just a speck.
I honestly would have done that too, but I don't own either Alt. Hot Rod or Mirage Except the subject you seem to think we're all "abnormal" about involves two figures that are decidedly NOT children's toys. Strarf is a Busou Shinki. That means she's expensive (the exact version in the comic; Strarf bis, runs for about $80 MSRP before shipping, give or take a few dollars or yen) and she's aimed for the older market (my Howling has an English label on her box that explicitly states that she's not to be played with by anybody under the age of 15. Plus, she's pretty sexualized even though she's one of the most "clothed" Shinkis). Hot Rod has been having sex jokes made about him since he showed up at the start of the comic (Strarf's insult-turned-pet name for him being "Porno Bot" because of the Autobot symbol on his crotch, among other things), and more specifically that's the KISS PLAYERS version of Hot Rod. Which means he's more G1-styled and better quality than the American release, but go look up Kiss Players and you'll see that he was NEVER intended to be a child's toy, much less than even regular collector-oriented Alternators ever were.
Why not provide a link to it's TFWiki Page? But yeah, Kiss Players Hot Rod is NOT a kids toy. ("Link" takes you to the Controversy section at the bottom of the page.) I'd've rather Pol not go into that much detail on this particular subject, but unlike the rest of the readers on here, I don't have to imagine anything I don't want to, so it doesn't bother me. But he goes into detail in everything else, & if he stopped having fun w/ the story, it'd either stop being high quality & fun to read or otherwise stop being made, so I'd rather he continue to have fun & continue WaP.
Well, to dissuade anyone from going TOO overboard with their twisted minds, the Shinkis are female in appearance, for reasons that will eventually become clear in MY comic, but it is a cosmetic facade only. Beneath the skin is technorganic support structures, multiversal detection modules, sub-processing sections, solid state translocation drives, subspace access systems, CSC energy conversion array, central cognition hub, and a durable alloy articulated frame. No womb, no preggo. Shinkis are built, not born.
