Well that sucks, I guess SS and TC are going to be lonely for a while. That said, I'm not too worried about Skywarp getting released...he'll probably turn up eventually. I highly doubt Hasbro's going to repaint that mold only once.

OK, wallet, bend over! *whips out the KY jelly"

The WFC Dark Prime and Megs were a given. But now I've got to have Chronicles Prime and Megs too. Call me crazy, but that Spike figure sold me on MP-10. And I love the BAPE Prime just for the sheer WTFness of it.

Wait, wondering if Chronicles G1 Megatron comes with his gun attachment parts.

Chronicles DOTM Prime looks neat. Looks like he comes with Jolt's mechtech gun now.

Hmmm, wonder if TakaraTomy will make a push to get kids into Transformers again. Bandai Japan seems to have a big effort aimed at kids with Gundam Age.

What younger kids asking for nowadays is pretty simple.
Anything complicated will not get kids attention.
Things like medal games, card games, anything with a few buttons, etc. will do. Especially those with voice and light effects that work just like what they saw on TV.
Transforming robot on the other hand is pretty tough. The toys may look cool, but it can only stay indoors. Smaller accessories type mechandise or hand-held devices are the way to go.

Yeah...my interest in action figures and giant robots that combine/transform has lasted until now, my mid-20's. My brother on the other hand who is 16, lost all interest in them at like...age 8, when my dad made him a technophile.

Devastator never had any major parts made from die-cast like the autobot cars did. Scrapper, Mixmaster, and Long Haul have none beyond pins and the like. Scavenger, Hook, and Bonecrusher only have some structural die cast bits involved with combining.

And now think about all the Hasbro toys that never make it to Japan. Plenty of those as well.

Yup, just noticed this. I'm gonna pre-order it but anxiously await Hasbro's announcement of a US release...

I made my own Custom DOTM SKYWARP

The Japan exclusive is great but I decided to make my own...I used the DOTM THUNDERCRACKER (TRU sale last week BOGO1/2 off) and TESTORS Gloss Black enamel spray paint and TESTORS "Grape Purple" enamel for the highlights and TESTORS Metalic enamel red for the saw and blade. Hope you guys like it...Have some touch ups to do still but not too bad for a first timer.
