As long as his hair is cut short and he hasn't got that funky do like he's had on most of his Disney roles, I'm alright with him.

Sam and whoever.... I don't care about any of these characters.
I probably won't get sad if any of them are killed in the movie. I appreciate the need for humans to make it live action and larger than life. But I don't want it to be "HUMANS" with Transformers in it.

In the post the premise of the movie is not what I expected, sounds interesting.

Go to the link and see for yourself.

Cool. Extermination of biological life? THAT'S a different goal for the Decepticons. They never actively went AFTER the humans before. Wonder why...

ive done my complaining about this movie. but industrial light and magic is doing the special effects and the pople involved in the movie seem gererally enthused. im calming down. i think what us g1 fans loved about the first movie was it was really a rock musical, people were swearing the carnage/death. fcc probabaly wont allow all the carnage. and we probabaly wont see corn doing the soundtrack aside from all that it should still be what we do expect. which will be cgi robots with a new look with a slightly different story cool! i would still like to see corn doing the soundtrack ehh you never know. good choice for spike

Yeah whatever happened to good old fashioned "Peace through Tyranny"?

Please don't tell me they're going for a Key to Sigma plot.

Then again modern sci-fi machine villains are always depicted as threat to organic life.

If so the movie Decepticons are closer to the G2 Cybertronians of Simon Furman.

Destroying organic life turning planets to a mirror images of Cybertron.

Nifty, that's pretty cool. Wouldn't be surprised that the first Autobot met by Spike/Sam will probably be Bumblebee.

I wonder if there will be a sequence with Spike running around picking different cars but not sticking with one immediately. Sort of like, "I'll take this red lamborghini... Wait, I change my mind, I want a green Jeep...Oh forget, I'll just stick with this yellow beetle..." Just to keep the Transfans guessing as to what he'll end up with.

Well, probably not but you never know.

Anyhow--- its way awesome that they are using Spike's name in this movie. It's not really a big deal but its damn cool.

A pervious poster mentioned that we all loved the first movie because it was a rock opera. That makes me think-- what's stopping any enterprising Transfan from taking this movie and adding his or her own modern rock soundtrack. :D  Uh uh.

And you misspelled Korn. It's Korn with a "K." :D

Something also tells me that everyone and their mother are gonna want to collaborate on this TF movie. I wonder if we'll get a damn good TF Soundtrack or just a hella cheezy TF related songs or maybe just a BS TF soundtrack that has nothing to do with the movie or TFs. Hrm......

This movie is gonna be the next big thing. It'll be like SW and the Matrix. Let's just hope its a good movie.

"In Transformers lore, the robots are divided into two groups: the Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, who believe in tolerance and the sanctity of life; and the Decepticons, led by Megatron, who espouse survival of the fittest and the extermination of biological life."

By the sounds of this bit, I think they are talking about existing transformers lore, rather than what we might see in the movie. They just got it wrong about the whole "extermination of biological life" bit, thats all.
Meh, easy mistake to make I suppose, won't get all "Fanboy" about it...

To a certain extent... G2 terraforming, and the total disdain most 'Cons showed towards squishies before that.

Nice to see it getting more story time in a "we'll kill anything in our path" way.

Getting a better vibe from this film now than I have before...
