Hey everyone. Just finished this guy up..well I do have more stickers to put on, but he's pretty much done. I just started on this guy a couple days ago..pretty stoked that he didn't give me, too much of a headache. And I'm sure someone figured this out before me..but the wings can now rotate behind the legs...pretty easy mod. Anyways..hope ya like it.

paint apps look great, especially with a PITA figure to paint. i prefer the wings midway like the G1, but this looks cool as well, especially with the wing mod. very nice

    Thanks thyvipera.

I prefer wings midway as well. The only reason I chose this version is because I liked how the wings could rotate behind the legs (like the G1). :)

Looks good, but he seems to be missing his tail rudder.

    Thanks man. Indeed. I wasn't going for 100 % G1 accurate.

Love the g1 paint job. How did you rotate the wings?

I like how you modded the figure but I agree that he needs his tail section. Bot mode looks right on.

He's already said he wasn't going for exact G1 accuracy, so this is how he made his skydive.

Also, the mod, correct me if I'm wrongs just adding a styrene tube to Skydive's wing, and a corresponding metal rod to the original wing mount and the other end to the original tailfin mount, right? It seems so simple, just engineering another hinge, but I'm sure there's so much more behind it...

Anyways, nice job, and great paint work. Still, I'm in the "wings in the middle and add a tail fin" camp, but personally bias aside, great custom! :)

I love the paint job but there is one catch, skydive is an F16 falcon. You're going to change the tail section to an F16 tail right?
