Yep your point is an estimate of somewhere around 15 inches? Which is what I was agreeing with?

Ah no worries I wasn't picking a fight just trying to figure out a decent rough guide to the size of the beast as it were! On another note about it anyone know when the final two bots prototypes might surface?

I'm probably being as thick as a whale omlette here (I never get tired of ripping off Blackadder) but can someone explain how TFCC membership works for us brits ?
For your 50 quid membership I know you get a free figure (one of the battlechargers) but do you have to pay extra postage on top to have it posted to you or is that included in your membership fee ? I'm just trying to figure out if it's cheaper to join or pay evilbay prices for them ?

Ps for my proverbial tuppence on the TFC Devastator situation, if Devy hasn't got his trademark purple boob tube armour, then it's a dealbreaker for me (fickle geewunner and proud dammit !)

Not entirely sure, but I think that you have to pay postage on top of the membership fee for the 'free' figure. I can't imagine that you sign up for the club and then the freebie just turns up on your doorstep without you having to do anything. Well maybe it does for US based members, but can you really see them offering free international shipping? :(

This year, I went halves on the membership cost with a US based TFW member and he's already got me Cheetor at cost (but missed out on Ramjet sadly). I think the idea is for him to buy a second Sideburn when he is available and then we'll both pay half of whatever he costs. Overall it works out cheaper than me going in for it by myself living in the UK.

Its $78 (£47) per year for the magazines and the freebie figure. Just a word of warning though you have to join next "year" after march 16th to get runamuck rather than this "year"

The shittest thing about the club is the cheapest postage to the uk for buying other exclusive figures is $42 (£25) making runbout cost £55 (£30 before postage)

HOWEVER if you order more than one the diffrence in postage price is about £3 so a group buy would be awesome if anyone would be up for it

    Nope.

If you join now, and are a member as at 16th March 16th next year you will get Runamuck. You will also get the chance to buy sideburn when that hits the club shop and the extra figures due to ship after botcon next year.

You do not pay extra shipping for the club exclusive free figure - thats included in the price.

I will be joining this year, and plan to buy 2 of every figure so I can have sealed/open versions.

^ What is that? A put-together-yourself KO? Looks sweet but fiddly. Didn't even know those things existed.

Brooticus - you're right, probably some bitterness and jealousy in that last post of mine.
MADE EVEN WORSE BY LOCUSTREIGN'S HAUL. That Doubledealer and Darkwing. Mmmmm. Squee.

Yeah, it's pretty much Sunstreaker in kit form. You get all the parts to make any character who uses the mold, even comes with the tiny Punch Counter Punch head. Also roof varients to have light bars and Red or Clear windscreen.

Will be fiddly to fit the pins. But It's gonna be my Classics Scamper.

Made by KO Toys, Only cost £22 with basic shipping.
Plastic quality seems good, but the faces seem a little off. (but I was gonna swop the head out anyway.)

Even for us guys who require international shipping? That seems too good to be true!

Of course if it is true then I am so signing up for that shizzle. :D

Well you pay £47 instead of the regular price which is lik £36 but still its a good deal compared

What gets me is postage for the store figures which is like $42 just for postage

    OK now I'm confused.

Basically, if I sign up as a UK resident and just pay the flat membership fee on registration, do I have to pay even one more penny in order to get the freebie figure shipped out to me?

I don't want to have to pay £47 or whatever to sign up, and then another £25 for shipping on top of that for what is essentially a figure I have already paid for.

I am no expert, but as I understand it, the UK gets charged a higher membership fee because of the shipping for the free figure. So, if you just want the mags and free figure, its all included. If you want additional figures, you pay considerable additional shipping fees. I think.

Cheers mate, that actually makes sense now :thumbs2:

Thinking about it though, even though the prices are still relatively high for a deluxe etc, they are still many many times cheaper than trying to get hold of them on the secondary market (see Punch/Counterpunch or G2 Ramjet as an example).

£47 for a club figure is not to bad considering he'd be going for at least twice that on eBay. Plus how could you get Runabout without Runamuck?!

I don't think so. They showed not-Long Haul at Botcon and he's definitely voyager-sized. So I'd say 15" is around the right mark for combined mode.

Yeah, shipping for the club freebie is also free.

Had a lovely days trading with my buddy down the road. I am now the very proud owner of Igear Arcee, United Blurr, Alternate Hothead, BiS Cyclonus and Nightstick,my '07 Cliffjumper, modded with a Classics CJ head, and a recast gun, Universe Ratchet and 3 light up Energon cubes! What a legend. Was also great to talk shite about TFs for nearly half a day. Only downside is, I don't have a microscopic screwdriver to remove Universe Hardhead's head. Would he just be "Hard", then?
