    It looks badass and all...but I think I prefer the cartoon accuracy of the Takara version...now to wait for their reissue...but I love the idea of having a MP targetmaster Hot Rod too...

    That looks sharp! I will get it. Where does it say the new matrix fits in his chest? I think it's just the MP 01 matrix honestly.

    I'm very happy about the face, it looks so much better here than Takara's. It's still a bit John Kerry, but compare these two pics...

    Takara

    Maybe a different plastic type brings out the detailing better?

    Also, what's with the red hips?

    I see on the side of the box where it says it fits in the chest. I wonder how? That's pretty big and his chest cavity is small.

    They probably remolded the chest so that the new (old?) matrix sits inside there. I really love the target master and the additional paint on the guns makes me happy. This is the one to get as far as I'm concerned.

    Don't mean to rain on anyone's parade but some of the people heaping praise on this figure are some of the people that were going to avoid it because of the qc issues with the Takara release, given it's the same mould it's more than likely going to have the same qc issues unless Hasbro has stated they're going to make some improvements that I'm not aware of. And if this is the case it means that the initial bunch that avoided the first run as a result of the complaints from this board and other sources avoided it mainly because the aesthetics and price tag weren't enough to compensate for the poor qc issues but with the price tag and aesthetics of this hasbro version the qc issues can be overlooked, am I right! Double standards!

    Awesome! I dont like this mold for $200 but I like it in the $75-$90 range.

    Damn that Targetmaster hommage on the shin guards looks ******ed. Glad I bought the Takara version to display in robot form...I still might stick this in the trailer for the Winnebago goodness.
