Yeah I remember last year being slightly disappointing as far as reveals go. People were waiting all weekend to get the new Generations stuff, then when it was finally unveiled it was a power point in the "no pics" area. Then people kept saying "oh, they're saving the good stuff for SDCC" and that didn't have much of a reveal either. Then they said "well, they're waiting for Toy Fair" and that didn't really...

 

Last Botcon only had real reveals that you, in your g1 fan self, cares about, on Sunday.

As I recall they gave us a few names but we didn't see any real pictures of Scourge, etc... till that 1st anual Japan convention.

Something tells me this year wont be much different. So if you'll excuse me...I think I'll go check out the E3 news.

Key word there is "right now." The prices on most of the set will drop in a few weeks. Thundercracker might not go down since he's a seeker (though with the least popular color scheme?), but the majority of the set probably will. Have they even sold out at the Con? If they haven't, I'm betting you can get the Toxitron/Sideswipe set at normal price from the Store.

 

I actually do not mind paying inflated prices. Mostly because I am not attending, original buyers invest their own time and money to buy the figs, and exclusive figures are well known to be priced above retail. Really no surprises there.

I'm just glad there are cool people out there willing to help me out when I need to obtain such things.

Your lucky to get people to help you out because that line for the exclusives was no joke...I was surprised I was able to buy my sets.

 

I got someone to get me a TC/Galv set yesterday. She said it was really hot out and they made everyone stand outside. Someone even passed out and they had to call an ambulance. (she was getting stuff for herself, too, so she was going to be in line anyway)

I wish I could be there this year... Hopefully next year it'll be within driving distance.
