I'm wondering if this is the figure I did recorded the voice for last summer? Supposed to be released the latter half of this year. This may be it!

 

Besides the fact that $130 is the price per case not per figure. This is a Star Wars toy that happens to be a transformer, a line that has a history of toys over $100. Not a Transformer toy that happens to be Star Wars related, which doesn't have that history.

 

EXACTLY. Bumblebee Snowspeeder. Starscream TIE Interceptor. Optimus Prime Falcon!

Can you imagine the coolness if this line was what it SHOULD have been: what would have happened if the TFs had shown up and scanned Star Wars vehicles!

 

That should of been the direction these cross overs should of gone with. I mean look at GI Joe vs Transformers. Thunder Cracker as Cobra Rattler is epic.

 

I'd be down with that in Joe-crossovers....and MAAAAAAYYYYBE Marvel..but Ugh, no. I do not need a Megatron AT-AT or wharever....

I must know.... the "two ship modes"... is it just flipped over? How in hades am I supposed to overtake Captain Antilles and board his minuscule cruiser (to search for stolen battle station plans) with the hulk of some clone-wars ship hanging out the bottom?

 

I don't think so. If you look close, you'll find that one is a triangle, and the other has a chunk taken out of the middle on either side. There's more too it then just flipping it over.

Well your wrong. Because flipping it is exactly what you do. Take a look at the front of both ship modes. The Venator is flat on the end, and imperial class's is rounded. Look at the under side of each ship mode. The Venator's is rounded, the imperial class's is flat. Also there is a panel line on the Imperial class that matches the angle of the cut in on the Venator sides. Plus you can see part of the upper portions of the Imperial class on the bottom of the Venator.

 

i've figured out how to turn anikin into vader:
fold up both halves of the vader helmet on his head
fold out part of chest and push it up
put shield on back
rotate elbow swivel to rotate arm around
rotate thighs and your done

now if you want to give vader a shield to elimitate kibble? you can!

i am totally getting this, this thing looks FUN, the transformation seems simple and yes the ship modes are just mainly flip it over, though how you fill in the missing chunks for imperial star destroyer mode i haven't figured out

it is simple it seems, but that is GOOD, this toy is gonna be a blast to play with

 

Simple fun and display-worthy pretty designs are what I look for in a big figure too. Intricate + huge = frustration more often than not.

Can't wait for this puppy to be released!

So where do the side panels come from? Also, on the bottom of the SD you see a peg, there's no peg on the top of the ROTS cruiser.

 

Overpriced, and unimpressive? Easy no on this one.

Don't say things like that it just reminds me why I sometimes want to beat Hasbro with a Large fish Monty Python style. Especially when they say or do something of a particularly epic degree of stupidity but then perhaps its best to stick your fingers in your ears and chant "nah nah nah I'm not listening" sometimes when they come out with some of their more silly comments.

Speaking of which did they shoot themselves in the foot at all at the Hasbro Botcon Panel this year ?
