OP, this may be the weirdest reaction you get but:

If you can get a voice chip with Beachcombers pervert-sounding voice, I'll paypal you $600 right this instant for this.

I would like to add my voice to the collection saying that I would love a non LED cast of this head^^
Also, dear GOD I think I'm going to love that driver!
I'd no plans of buying many of the movie figures (Sentinal Prime and Powerglide, maybe some of human alliance guys, but that was really cause I wanted the 'human' figures) but you just added one more to my buying list^^
Also I can not wait till I see him with the surfboard. This custom is going to be excellent

Coming from a master of Customizing, that's a great compliment man! Thanks! :D

Gotta hand it to ya, that's a great reaction to my little BC & an even better idea for the voice chip! One I hadn't thought of! He's so small tho I'm not sure where I could cram that stuff into. Most of the body cavity ( where the missile launchers used to be ) is going to be filled with the torso extension mechanism so no dice there...D'oh!!:banghead:

Thanks for the extremely kind words Glad you like the head enuff to want one, I'll make sure to keep you updated if it becomes available for sale! :thumb
I can't wait to see the driver done my own self! I can just imagine Him & BC zipping down the beach, surfboards ready to go an jammin' to some good 'ol "Freedom Rock" ! :lol

    Cheers!

I forgot to ask good sir, If I go by the AHM cover art, does that mean I have to give my Arcee & Blurr 'boards as well? :lol

Tho now I think about it, how cool would it be to recreate that cover as a diorama for my BC, Arcee an Blurr?

I mean, if you want to recreate the cover art exactly, yes I guess.  Before I found and attached the image I didn't even remember they were in it. That was not my original intention. After I did find it I thought it might be a good opertunity to use your custom Arcee when she's done though. If you do make the boards, Arcee definitely has a longboard in the pic if you are going for super accuracy to the image.

You could actually just draw them in photoshop later if you wanted to. That'd be the easiest route. Yep, changed my mind, just plan to draw them in later in photoshop unless you really want to make them too. They'd be really easy to paint in and if you can get Blurr and Arcee basically the same position as the comic you won't need to change how they appear from the comic at all. Just cut and paste.

Edit: Forgot to say that you can count me in with the others that would buy a cast of that sweet head sculpt, with or without LEDs, btw.

Count me in as someone who wants a head(non LED) if you do sell them.

But I have a question, isn't this a little big for classics scale? I want to do this, but it's going in the alternator collection. I don't have the figure yet (saving for botcon). i should go look up some reviews.....

Sandstorm is not the same size as the HA figures from ROTF. These particular figures are scouts.

yeah, I meant the fact that it's a human alliance, so the human scale is close. I'm going off theory that Alternators were 1/24th scale, and thats about what HA was. having the sizes within HA be in scale to each other has been pretty awesome.

But I just watched peaugh's (sp?) review of this, and he's slightly smaller than Deluxe SS, so I see what BK is doing here. I still think it could go either way, at least thats what i'm hoping. I am bummed that the HA basics human figures are smaller than the regular HA. Not sure why they did that. might have to ask them at Botcon.

Yeah, that's another reason why I didn't pursue this project at this time.

Sounds to me like someone out there should have a contest specific to this project.

    As requested! :

Hey Randy! l'll keep ya posted about the head! As far as the figure being a little too big for classics scale, well, that's nothing a few changes here an cant take care of!

I took these shots to give you an idea of the relative sizes:

First, here's BC next to classics HOUND..BC is only slightly shorter an even that'll be fixed after I add his torso extension mechanism

Here's BC's driver next to classics HOUND in alt mode, scales aren't so far off

& lastly, a shot of BC & HOUND in their respective alt modes with the driver figure for comparison

Hope these help ya to see where I'm goin with BC! :D

Hmm....A contest you say? Sounds cool!

Thanks man! I can't wait either! The more I think about this little guy, the more jazzed I get!

    Cheers!
