This number is huge, it also does not count the people that watched it through YouTube, you know that once it came out people linked it through their Facebook pages to YouTube. Plus the downloads through Michael bay.com, I think close to 20 million people watched the trailer in the first 24 hours.
That sound really good. I hope there will new tv spots or trailer coming soon. YouTube - Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon (Epic Fan Made Music-Trailer)
Ya because that isn't an "original" film it's based off of the bible. This movie however may be based off an 80s cartoon it still has some originality.
Wow. I understand you're not a fan of the movies, but this is pretty bullshit. Making the amount of views up? Really?
Apparently Dark of the moon has been rated now. are local theater puts up question marks if its not announced stilll and for dark of the moon they say it is rated PG-13. Not surprised tho. here is the link the rating. coming soon
I don't think it's a totally unreasonable question to ask. What's the source on this anyway? I don't see anywhere on apple's website where they list trailers by how many times they were downloaded. Every once in a while some studio will issue a press release announcing that their movies trailer broke some record, but how do we know it's not just hype?
PG-13 was expected if it were rated R how would they sell the toys. I mean sure 13 is still up there but that doesn't stop a lot of the kids under 13 from seeing the movie.
Oh, it is hype, let's be clear on that right away. It seems every year more and more people go to see movies, so reports such as 'Spider-Man 3 broke the record for mosts visitors!' don't mean anything to me anymore. You just know the record is going to be broken the next year anyway, no matter the quality of the movie. However, I don't see any reason to assume this report is somehow made up just to hype. I'm pretty sure something like Apple wouldn't really appreciate if another company blatantly lies about this stuff on their behalf just to hype. It's true that we don't possess the numbers to check if it's true or not, but people need to lay off all the conspiracy theories. Statistics on how well your website is performing is never public, because it's nobody's business. To simply question it because we don't get to see it is a bit unfair, and I don't see how we should suddenly question the authenticity just because of that. Also, just going to say this bluntly, vektsilver has not liked the movies ever since the first one, and I've yet to see a single post of him that isn't negative about them. That's ok, you can't expect everybody to like every part of the franchise (and even though I liked movie 1 - I've shown my great disdain for ROTF) - but it's not hard to see he is approaching this subject with negativity and trying to spin it that way.
