What I had liked about the Human Alliance line in the past was the realistic looking vehicles and movie accurate Robot modes. Now with the neon Green, and the writing on the side of Sideswipe's side I'm left wondering, who will be buying this? So far I'm passing on most of the Dark of the moon line unless I see better. So at least my wallet will be happy.

Isn't Sam in the Autobot Daredevil Squad out of scale with a deluxe BB?

 

I was wandering which mold they would be using for the Scan Series Bumblebee figure. It's a nice looking figure, but I'll most likely pass him, and all the other Scan Series figures for that matter.

The "Daredevil Squad" set looks kinda interesting. While I wouldn't mind owning the Backfire figure, or that patch, the Bumblebee and Sam figures don't really interest me enough. Also, it being a Kmart exclusive doesn't bode well for it's availability around here, lol.

The "Flash Freeze Assault" set also looks kinda interesting. Sideswipe looks really cool in alt-mode. However, no paintjob can make that bot-mode look any better, tbh.

While neither set interests me enough to buy them, I am looking forward to seeing what other, similarly themed, sets they'll have on the way.

Hasbro's sure getting their money's worth out of that Optimus Prime Voice-Changer Helmet mold...

Of all the items shown here, I'll definitely be getting Leader Ironhide and HA Whirl, but that's probably it. I don't have too much interest in any of the others, unless I happen to really like one of the HA Basics molds and decide to pick up the two-packs on clearance to get another copy of said mold.

 

They released HA Bumblebee in every HA wave, so they probably still need to milk the other HA molds. Now highly unlikely I hope Skids and Mudflap finally get packaged together.

Sidearm Sideswipe has a DOTM Wallmart exclusive, and the first mold is a Toysrus exclusive, the odds of releasing two of that mold at the same time are slim.

I really like Ultimate Prime's box. Doesn't mean the fig is as good, though.

 

What is the pricepoint for the energon blade? I thought it would have electronics but now that I'm reading the packageing it seems to just be a basic flick lightsaber transformers branded.

This can be a good thing. If its under $10 I'll have to add it to my role play weapons arsenal.

The human alliance packs are sweet. The k mart stunt team is odd. They should have just had sam witwicky with backfire. I definitely will just put the deluxe bumblebee with my other redecos. Trying to get it to hold a huge mechtech gun is just desperate.

Sideswipe, Ironhide, Ratchet and Bumblebee all have toys R Us exclusive scan series deluxes. Good business for toys r us. I think they have attractive vehicle modes. Going to hunt them.

We currently don't know how these two sets will be priced, or even if the Flash Freeze set will be sold at Kmart as well (lacks the exclusive sticker). It would suck, price wise, if you got a full HA in one but only a Deluxe in the other but paid the same price for both, yes.

 

Leader Ironhide is a must for me. The rest is scrap. I really want to like Ultimate Prime, but those ARMS.... The RotF Prime is still the best version it seems. I was wondering if Hasblo could top it, but apparently not. Maybe it'll grow on me when I see it in person, but as it stands, out of all of these, Ironhide is the only one I am getting.

 

Well, every year there are new kids turning the age where they're interested in things like that...
