It is actually easy to understand 3 instead of 2 if you think in terms of display and not resale.

The thing is, I am almost certain that these will sell out. TFC will not care if you need a payment plan or a guarantee to get all six, they will have no problem unloading these to Dev fans. Unless these cost $150 a piece and they make 10,000 pieces, they will be sold out. This is one of those anticipated items we all have been waiting for.

Everybody is tripping over nothing. I'm pretty sure if they sell out they'd make a second run. Also, these things will be expensive. Which means that A LOT of people won't be getting them.

I keep forgetting that Devastator has a gun. Lol. That thing is gonna be huge! If they make one for him of course.

 

The individual guns for the Constructicons look to have a number of 5mm pegs and holes all over them, so they probably combine into a large rifle for Devs.

 

I'm waiting for TFClub to announce their "member's only" extra for this set.
I wonder what it will be this time.

TFClub is also the main distributor of Fansproject toys in China and Hong Kong.
These guys work closely with Fansproject and share knowhow on making toys between their development teams.

 

Watch as it turns out to be a chestpiece like the G1 toy.

Still, fascinating info. Does this collaborative sharing between TFClub and FansProject extend to factory info/access/deals? Would love to see TFClub products with the same quality/production costs as FansProject stuff, and FP appears to have a pretty good factory operation in place.

Interesting... does the crane part of Hook not fold away in Devastator mode, I wonder? Seems an oversight if not, having it just hanging out over his back, sat diagonally across shoulder. I'd assume it would slide back and hinge down out the way.

At least Scavenger's bucket arm can fold up out the way a little bit.. G1 accuracy be damned, I'm in this for engineering skill and kibble solutions   Hoping to see all the stops pulled out on this; done properly, it could be truly epic. A lot of the other work they've done on it is great, be a shame to let it down by just not bothering with stuff like that.

Not an impressive showing really, they've only added one new prototype to devy and those PCC limbs. Still no price details for Scavenger who appears to be at test shot stage now given how many of him are on that table.
