Hey all. I'm doing an A3 of Masterpiece Prime for a major work, and saw this funky cool piece. It's in the gallery section under wallpapers. Does anyone know how Alphie or Joe got Prime's colours like that? It looks like they used an inverse colours mask, and a Luminosity blendmode, but I cant seem to get the tones right. It would be a huge help if anyone had any info! Thanks!
Well, since I'm the one who did it, I can tell ya exactly what I did. Alphie sent me the pics in black and white with the colors inversed. It was as simple as making a new layer in Photoshop, setting the layer to multiply, and the opacity to (I think) 35% and then just using the paint brush tool.
Sometimes simple is all you need. The wallpaper in question can be found here: http://www.tfw2005.com/gallery/Wallpapers-Other-20thOptimus
