I got the TFcon Nightbird and yeah. Never even opened it after I saw reviews of it. Can't see myself buying this. Nightbird's left a bad taste in my mouth in general.

Or maybe, I shouldn't put boxes that come from China in my mouth to begin with...

I've got the Arcee that was sold through iGear (hand-made by that French guy) & IMO She's a very well engineered figure. If Nightbird here is also produced by that French guy, I'd consider forking out for it.

    But I definitely don't think she's worth $116 + shipping. iGear don't have sales - Do they?

Wow. $116? Pass. I'd rather get a Delicate Warrior instead.

$116 for a maybe deluxe sized non transforming figure?

Someone needs to teach any new person dropping their hat into the 3rd party race that things have changed.

When you can get a basic TRANSFORMING figure with a ton of accessories for $45 bucks and a MP figure for just over $100 prices have definately fallen.

God bless all of you that have the funds to buy this but I'm goign to pass. There is no reason for this figure to be more than $60 and thats if every piece was made by hand.

Sorry to hear this is associated with iGear, their reputation is tarnished enough these days.

I know size wise I found out this is going to be bigger than their Arcee they have been distributing. Being from the same maker as the Arcee figure, this is bought. I like this character, and I don't mind shelling it out for this figure. I've been VERY extremely happy with my Arcee figure I bought. I know that these are being designed and made and assembled by one person, hence why they have taken a little longer to come out.

So it is the same maker as the Arcee, it does not transform AND it costs more?

That there is the most insane math I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing.

Well I know on the Arcee figures, there have been no where near the numbers made say compared to fansproject items. I'm aware it costs more, and I'm fine with it. I know it's a lot more of a limited item too. My reasons for collecting them are just simply because I like them and want them for my collection, nothing more than that. I've sold customs a few years back on ebay that easily went for $200 to $400 each, so to have something from one person made by hand and have it of a top quality construction, I see the value and can appreciate it.

Again, I know it's not for everyone and that's ok. It's actually right now about the same price, and the shipping is included at no additional charge.

That still does nto explain how a transforming figure and a non tranforming figure, both made by the same person, both (presumably) made the same way, still cost the same amount?

I'm calling total price gouge and unfortunately whoever is making these (not iGear) will see the long term effects in regards to little to no fan support.

There must be something to justify this price: more die-cast parts, ball-joints everywhere, Spiderman poseability, light-up eyes or "sword"... Or at least a very limited production number, because right now I don't understand how a non-transformer can cost more than 70-80$. Maybe they reveal something more about her later, but right now I'd rather wait for Firestar.

Sweet! she looks promising. Better proportions than the impossible toys one. I'm cool with it lacking an alt mode, since she never had one anyway, but I wanna know why no one can give her a descent head sculpt. She has no slagging chin line! And I don't get the see-through midriff on her either...
