Well, I got everything to make the Xantium!  

Just need some red paint and modding!

I won't be that accurate or awesome, or transform, but it'll be big!  

 

cool, what are you using to make the xantium?

Or is it a surprize?

 

Well, I want it to be somewhat a surprise.....

But I'll be using Energon Wing Saber's legs.  

 

Hey! I didn't realize how behind this thread got.

Well, I got some good news. I found a Perceptor head! I put some sculpting stuff on it and the Perceptor custom itself is almost done! As well as Impactor and Roadbuster.

But for Perceptor, I've created a story to accommodate his, um, "unique" look.

He it is:

Perceptor was part of the Autobot science community when a gang of Decepticon raiders attacked his facility. Perceptor was shot in the chest, lost an arm, and his microscope. He was tossed in a cell, along with his severed arm. Gears and mechanisms exposed, he performed self-surgery in his public cell. He grabbed a random piece on the ground, added a canon and a microscope-like mirror, and attached it to his shoulder. Finally, he added a lens to add to his weapon accuracy. Though it was little use, due the removal of his weapons chip. Days passed, and finally, the Xantium came to the prison ship and infiltrated it. They were sent for a prison break. That's when they meant the "new" Perceptor, and recruited him. One day, he will eventually professionally rebuild himself in official Autobot quarters..............

Which we lead to Generations Perceptor!

Oh you tease! Its a pity the xantium just disappeared from the comics after that one brief appearance. Looked like there could have been alota fun had with that. Can't wait to see roadbuster and impactor!

Yeah, I guess so! I envisioned the cell to be ridden with a bunch of parts of other dead Autobots.

Also, modding for Perceptor is done! Just need a little more paint.  

 

Well, Broadside is underway! Just need to get some version of the Cybertron Jetfire mold to give him leg articulation. Also, I've get a Jet-mode planned!  

And Perceptor...... is questionable. I'll keep the background story, but just use Generations Perceptor. Now I wait for SDCC pictures (hopefully) of him.

 

Um.... It just hit him that I'm impatient.

So I'll probably use my idea for a "Mk" I Perceptor. It's Spoonman's version using Energon Barricade. Also, I think I really need a Kup. Not just for this, as well. I'll pick one of these ideas here...

Oh, The Xantium would be done, but I never have enough red paint.

 

I think cup is destined for a generations re-make.

Thought I'd drop by to say I'm working on... Verity, in her armor! And with an Ironfist from Uni. Hound, they'd be perfectly in scale.

But what head could I use? (Note that I don't own a Uni. Hound yet)

 

for Roadbuster, you could use the REAL figure of roadbuster. the updated figure by CM of the Dorvack Combat Calibur, which was where the original Roadbuster came from.

Hey, my old thread!   Thanks for more ideas guys. I'm still working on this project to this day. I actually started a Rack 'n Ruin, and have gotten new ideas.

I actually contributed to it today. Got my Gen. Kup with Cy-gar!  


My new ideas for example are Twin Twist and Topspin from WFC Megs, via Wheel_Jack's idea. I also remember L_K's Sandstorm from a Sidearm Sideswipe. Ideas, ideas...

GinoPuppy- Oh, I've thought of that many times before. It's just the price of the figure seems to high for me to paint. But it is perfect.

withprecision- I've actually thought of that before! Great minds think alike?   I really just wouldn't go near my Defender with a brush, let alone any modding materials.

 

For my Roadbuster I'm having a universe Onslaught with a new head recoloured!

Topspin and Twintwist I use Breacher and Terradive (the blue energon A10).

Sandstorm I just use evac, til a better one comes out.

 

For Topspin and Twintwist, I think Generations Thunderwing with heavy resculpting could work, the transformation scheme would mean that the cockpits/drills would end up behind their shoulders as in LSOTW.
