You saved me a trip!   Didja check out TRU Sunrise/Greenback?

 

It is cool, isn't it? There's a few of the bigger sets of that series that I want, but the idea of moving even more stuff to make room for Legos is a daunting task that I don't feel like figuring out right now.

In the name of Legos...TRU website has 3 of the new Kingdoms sets listed and I want all 3.   There's a few more after that but they're not gonna be out for a little bit.

OT on Lego P o t C

Someone mentioned only 3 cannons included in this set... I looked at the box and there is a reason. A highlight at the back of the set; where the cannon is not fixed and can be physically unattached and attached to either right or left.. since it is being highlighted which means a play value ADDED !

I can only imagine if the set included 6 cannon , 3 on each side.. then it is not giving the kids the play value to switch a cannon left/right....

(wish this set becoming one of the special buy by this BF...)

p.s. I still have the Troll warship MISB which I bought couple years ago on a BF special..  

 

No need to go TRU Newark and Hayward, and Target Hayward. u will come out with empty hand.

 

Target always has one or two $80+ Lego sets on sale for Black Friday, but they are never the current year's release. They are always a set that is a year or two old. If we get this on a great Black Friday deal, it probably won't be this year.

 

I've spotted the warpath wave at a couple of SD TRU's also.

 

Did you see any Wheeljacks?

 

The Walmart in Rancho Cucamonga is virtually empty...there's a lone RotF Red Rampage if anyone's missing him. That's the only item of interest.

 

Stopped at toys r us in mission viejo a couple days ago, they had a couple of Kup's and Scourge's if anyone is still looking for them in the OC.

 

Curiously, no Wheeljacks. Just Warpath and Thundercracker.

 

I know someone was looking for a Marvel Archangel a while back. I picked one up at Target this morning along with some of the 2 pack PCCs. PM me if still interested.

Got a package in the mail thinking I finally got my Red Alert parts from Venksta, but instead I got this little guy. A little reward for donating to the Japan tsunami fund.

Came with a little character card.

 

Looks cool! If I were to have gotten one, I think I'd try to pair 'em with CHUG Inferno.

Just out of curiosity, I know Bodhar is looking to sell the United Stepper. Anybody think he would be interested in a discount if there is a group buy? I am interested if people in the Bay Area are looking into doing one. I can pose the question to him if peeps are interested.
