Just as the title says, BBTS has reported on their front page under the preorder section that the Windcharger 2011 stock has been confirmed. Does this mean that we may yet see this guy at retail, only time will tell. 43 windcharger cases are currently available for preorder.

 

Just means that they're going to be able to cover preorders and whatever stock they planned on getting.

 

Unfortunately BBTS having Windcharger is still no guarantee that Walmart\Tagert and all them would have ordered cases that WC is in. Still, good to see it available for those who need it.

 

They should ask for a run of them like they did with Battle Unicorn. I would buy a few to support the cause.

 

I doubt Wal Mart and Target will see WC.

 

Windcharger will end up at Ross and TJ Maxx

 

Anyone want to split this case. I'll take the Windchargers and you guys can take the other scouts.

If anyone DOES decide to order a case and wants to lose some of the scouts PM me, I've already got a windcharger, but would like to buy the following from the case:

1 x Sunspot
1 x Backfire
1 x Chopsaw

 

The case is like $110. It comes with 12 figures. 10 of which I will never ever ever touch.

 

Ok... even splitting the case in half makes this an expensive purchase. I'll wait till I see him in stores or get a good deal on a trade or the inevitable Takara release.

I will seriously pick up a case if people are really going to be taking the extra figures. No problem at all doing that. Msg me the figs that you want. Once I get enough people signed on I'll order the case. I will pay $30 for the case with the 2 windchargers, so the other 10 would be $8 a piece plus whatever it costs to ship to you.

I would find someone to split a case with me as well but i just dont think it would be an easy thing to presell some of the unwanted scouts. Hopefully you find enough demand to do it.

Well i would take a Wincharger and a Chopsaw if you do want to part with one of them.

 

For what it's worth:

Someone listed the Windcharger case contents, minus one WC, on eBay a week or two ago, all with a starting bid of 99 cents. WC went for big bucks of course. However, other than that, there was maybe one bid on Chopsaw, and that was about it.

That has to be one of the WORST case assortments in the history of the Transformers toy line, if not action figures in general. Then again, I really don't know how these decisions are made. Maybe there's actually a method behind the madness.

 

All of those other scouts were on clearance at my local Target a while ago... and even on clearance they didn't all move. I got a Breacher for about $3-$4, but left the others because I just have no interest. I think you guys are going to have a helluva time getting rid of the scouts in that case not named Windcharger.
