Nice Dark Skyfire pics, TJ! He really is a great figure... though I admit I'm still not quite sure the backstory behind him. Is he evil Jetfire? Pre-Autobot Jetfire? Another character altogether? I can't remember what his justification is, other that being a super-cool Takara black repaint. Which, really, is enough.

It always struck me as odd that he didn't fly off the (real and virtual) shelves at first. I have a feeling that he'll end up sort of like E-Hobby Astrotrain... a repaint that people don't realize they want until he's been out of stock for a while, and then suddenly his price will quadruple as his coolness is belatedly recognized.

BEWARE THE FURY OF SKYQUACK

 

As weird as it sounds, I was so hyped on buying this figure that I got on youtube and saw the TFsource review of it. They said that it's an allude to the possibility of him having been a decipticon at some point back on cybertron when they were soldiers and not necessarily evil.They said it plays along with the fact that even though he's an autobot, there are things about him like being friends with starscream that say the could've been something else previously.

And yea, he really, truly is an awesome figure. Even better in person than what I'd seen in pics. Thank you for the compliments man.

Anyways, trying to work with some figures I don't really like to kind of challenge myself to work harder to make even them look better. Here are a few attempts with gen.. Thunderwing:

Wow... thanks man. Honestly, I don't feel like I even compare to most photographers here, but I definitely am feeling a lot more confident and in control of my shots as time goes on. This is an excellent site with awesome resources and really nice posters who can all help to get better. I sure as hell know they've all been helping me.

hahaha. Dude, if you buy them and apply them PLEASE take pictures. I actually own them and they're sitting in a drawer. I just bought them for the Magnus blue faceplate sticker, but have been wondering just how the rest of them look in hand. Your photos are awesome, so I think they'd be a good "deal breaker" with that decision.

 

You should at least paste an Autobot faction symbol on City Commander, TJ.
