that was so freaking righteous, it's not even negotiable. Two major elements from my childhood in sweet unity. I thank whomever animated that!
This is a rough translation, sorry if I made some mistakes here and there. Unknown: Somebody used to be the greatest singer on Earth. Unknown: Cooool! Unknown: Culture is fortune. I agree with you. SkyFire: By the way, if you play Michael Jackson's role, you will be Roddy Michael? Hot Rod: oooh, cool! Perceptor: So, if you play MJ's role, you'll be Ultra Michael? Ultra-Magnus: I will politely turn it down. Drift: How about Drift Jackson? SkyFire: I am not sure about that. HotRod: Then any name is ok. Perceptor: You don't understand the story Ultra-Magnus: Don't ignore the rule. Drift: Don't be so serious, I was just kidding. Convoy: It's about time. I got the notification. Let's roll out. Everyone: Yes Sir! Ultra Magnus: We don't have enough members. Copnvoy: Don't worry, I have a good idea! ***Dance Number*** Laserwave: If you have so much free time, why don't you develop Energon? HotRod: Laserwave... Everyone: What?! Convoy: Cybertrons (Autobots), Free Jetrons (Seekers?), follow and Capture him. Everyone: Yes Sir. Laserwave: What? You guys look scary!
Nicely done. I'm glad someone posted this again, because I hadn't seen it already. The dance moves are soooooo sweet. Also realizing in retrospect how brilliant it was in the original thriller video to incorporate the actual foot-shuffling sounds into the number, rather than just making it music only. Really makes you take notice of the dancing. Love the ending with Shockwave... silly, but it really made me chuckle. zmog
that was epic! i missed it too when it was previously posted, glad i got to see it now. the shades part with hotrod was awesome, as well as the ghost seekers. and i also agree, the inclusion of the dance sounds really helps sell it. 2 great pop icons in 1 video, all done very well. (but yes it would be nice to have an english subtitled version)
Thanks for the translation! I guess the video works better without the english subtitles, since the script's "humour" doesn't translate well.
Should've done this in the 1989 movie instead of the Dare To Be Stupid dance number on the Planet of Junk
