Pee Pants Bumblebee?

 

Did we watch the same G1? Bumblebee was just another Autobot.

 

Apparently the HA line is now the Hey Look! Bumblebee!! With Sam!!! Line. (No, the scout HA guys don't count, as they look like rejects from the Energon line.)

This redeco is hideous.

 

So Human Alliance has way too many Bumblebee repaints. Much like Movie Deluxe, Supreme and Legends, yes?

 

This isn't G1 related. This is the live action films, and the first film was VERY Bumblebee and Sam focused.

IMO, Bee is one of the best things about the live action movies - they took the time to make the general audience care for the character by giving him screen time, personality, and a bond with one of the human characters. I wish that could've been done for the other Autobots too, but that doesn't mean I dislike Bumblebee because of it.

 

Yikes! that silver Bumblebee is....different! the alt mode doesn't look bad at all, but that robot mode is just awful! it looks like something you would find in a pound shop!

Dude, that's what I meant. When you compare this piece of ugly crap to the glory of HA Jazz, you can fully appreciate the nosedive the HA line is about to take once this travesty is released.

HA Stealth BB... I like it.
I can see me adding more black to the bot mode. Almost to where the yellow is just highlights, but I like the idea of this rather than another straight re-release of the HA figure. I've been looking at the HA line as alternators2.0 anyway, so this isnt any kind of deterrant to getting this figure. I just hope the head isnt finished yet.

^ Has it been announced which Wrecker will be becoming a HA? As long as it's Top Spin or Roadbuster, I'll be a happy camper. Not really a fan of Montoya or Target in general. Sadly enough, I don't own any HA's although I really want Jazz and Barricade. DOTM Soundwave will be mine though.

 

Not yet, just that one of them will be in what I'm assuming will be wave 2 of the line, along with Soundwave. I'll be surprised if all three of them don't eventually get made, but it might take a while, depending on how they space out all the new characters they'll hopefully be making in this line.

 

WOW just WOW....that HA Bumblebee is EPIC FAIL!!!

I didn't think it was possible for a paint job to make an incredible mold look like total horse shit but this figure is proof that it is.

 

I'm not a big fan of the stealth BB color scheme. Easy pass for me.

 

Honestly, if it wasn't for the bright silver paint and the solid windows, this would be a definite buy for me. The silver paint would, for the most part, be something I could take care of (the alt-mode stripes would be a bitch though), but the window's are definitely something I couldn't undo on my own (without buying one of the two previous releases and swapping them out, but if I'm going to do that, I might as well just buy the previous Bee, and skip the DotM repaint entirely).

Anybody else hopefull that they'll either make a new mold, or alter this one to match his new look in DotM?....or is it just me, lol......

 

Black always looks cool on muscle cars. Makes them look menacing. But the blue translucent windows and yellow stripes clash with each other. Silver or gold stripes with dark tinted windows would look better. Since Carly, Epps and Lennox are probably going to be allied with DOTM Autobots, the Silver Benz and 69 Chevelle could be a part of the HA line. Hopefully the Ferrari will be released with Lennox. Seeing a DOTM HA BB means the line is at least continuing.

 

I'm thinking it's Leadfoot. I doubt it will be Topspin, he's got a legend and a deluxe in the first two waves of each. Roadbuster's also got a deluxe in wave one, while Leadfoot's only got a confirmed legend, so I imagine Hasbro's going to want to get out a larger Leadfoot toy ASAP.

Plus, if they're making HAs of all three wreckers, plus the Ferrari and Mercedes, that means there will be two red cars and two blue cars and one green one, so Hasbro's going to want to space them out, probably like this:

Red Wrecker
Blue Mercedes
Green Wrecker
Red Ferrari
Blue Wrecker

Can't be 100% though (shoot, probably not even 50%)
