Between here and Youtbe, you can find a number of things about transformers 3, even things we havent seen here at tfw. on youtube i heard that that tenticle thing in the last two trailers gets into the ground to find a building with humans in it hiding from the 'Cons. It then raps around the entire building and detroys it completely. This would be a good example of human deaths in the film. But one thing bugs me, is it going to be some transformer, or just a tenticle drone thing? and what role will it have than to just rap around a building and crush it?and how will the soldiers and bots kill it? start speculating.

looks like the thing could make shockwaves.it might be shockwaves alt mode in the movie.the toy and the movie may differ from each other. 

 

I thought it would be some kind of Decepticon machine, that or maybe a movie version of Tentakil?

Anyways, I think we'll all be farely surprised when the movie's released.

i have a theory....what if it is just one of the decepticon ships crashing into the ground and not actually coming out of the ground?.......

 

I am reading the prequel comic series "Foundation" - something similar appears in issue 2.

 

In the scene it's not coming out of the ground, it's drilling or burrowing into it,

 

ITS a superduper [Btrain combiner[/B]!! Imagine this scene: Its rush hour and chicago central is stacked with trains.. then suddenly all the trains combine into a tentacle slapping monstercon. An octopus like transformer with complete trains for tentacles.. imagine the transformation proces! it will make the constructicons combining into devastator turn into a laughing matter. I will christen it: Astrotrainicus maximus! God i would love to see that happen!

 

The only thing I can think of this machine or con is the giant Drill Bot who smashes or cleaves a building in half. As seen and reported from people on set. Other then that its up in the air.

 

It would be a shame if it wasnt a transformer rather than just a machine/weapon. Hopefully it's Trypticon or something like that.

I love the cncept from what Ive seen so far though: A Hydra kraken squid thing with a rotating fuselage with at least four long and massive tentacles with rotating drillbits for heads, sailing through concrete, traffic, steel and asphalt like it was nothing more than water.
It's main body is only partly visible but at least 40 feet across and probably more, the tentacles are at least a hundred feet long and wider than a large car, they constantly enter and emerge from the ground providing, or helping to, propulsion for the main body.
Fascinating.

I dont know how long or what shape the main body is but it's very large indeed. If this is one bot its the biggest seen yet. Way in excess of Devastator for instance.
I just hope its something truly awesome and terrifying and not another unlikely set piece execution for Bumblebee.
I'm hoping it's Shockwaves favourite murderous pet.
And oh yeah, I can believe this thing eats Skyscrapers for breakfast.

 

I remember when concept art from Revenge of the Fallen popped up online, one of which was an enormous mechanical Kraken Decepticon attacking an Aircraft Carrier. That really came to mind when I saw the tentacle thing:

I think it will just be a Decepticon weapon released by Shockwave to cause havock.

Almost certaintly not an actual Transformer.

 

I think its RUMBLE, who was ejected by Soundwave (that explains the force). Plus, RUMBLE and FRENZY did have these,,,, hammer like thingys,
