Man that looks good. The beautiful photos don't hurt either. I have to say, the barely painted shoulders were bothering me. But I realized that G2 Laser Optimus also has predominantly grey shoulders, so uh, I'm okay with this!
Yes I'm good with this edition too I'll buy two at the end of month, so I'll save one to upgrade eheh
I wonder if Takara is going to give the Matrix any special paint treatments. It is not fun take a brush to my expensive imported toys.

You know... I already have the RTS version, but this one is one of those Takara versions that actually looks nice enough to bother to import and replace my Hasbro version with. I like how it takes more from the original G2 Laser Prime than from the Movie Prime.
Thank god there's no candy-coat paint on him. They actually used the extra paint budget to make him look nice, not tacky. Only Tracks could pull that look off well, Blurr to a lesser degree.
I gotta get one of these next i think. Is there any difference between the hasbro and takara versions?
Fully black cab (versus blue cab with black nose) Red fade on nose (in addition to the flames) Silver paint on truck grille Translucent blue plastic (as opposed to translucent orange), with side windows painted to match accordingly Red kneecaps. Red painted biceps And possibly some other variances in the plastic colours.
