You know, I gotta say I really like that Sideswipe. I didn't buy the original Sidearm Swipe, because it was honestly too similar to the original's, and didn't seem too much of an improvement upon something I was already very happy with. (I mean, it's not like it's Battle Blade Bumblebee compared to the previous incarnations.) But really... That's different and funky enough that I kinda really like it. Maybe we can pass this off as Wrecker Twin Twist.

Oh WOW! I don't know about anyone else, but I love it. It really looks like a race car here, and it'd fit well with other race themed TFs. I'll definitely pick this one up!
I actually really like that deco on sideswipe. It is tempting, although I've already got both the US and Takara versions of the mold. That's probably more than enough. Be nice if they'd spend the money to paint mechtech sideswipe instead. I will be getting some version of that car.
Botcon can't, but if Hasbro and or Paramount wanted to provide something to attendees I can't see it being impossible. Hasbro provided the legends Ramjet? years ago and in a sort of similar vein stocked the Pepsi Prime in 2007.
G2 Deco homage at retail. Sweet news. Reuse of the very solid sidearm sideswipe mold. Easy pick up; looking forward to it. Like others are saying about it being kind of like the movie wreckers colors I can see that. Its a bit like topspin.
it's based on the G2 gobots version of sideswipe i think, there was also a straight repaint of his G1 toy but it was in a red/black/green scheme.
I love how Sideswipe looks. I only have the first ROTF SideSwipe, but I'll buy one of these when they hit the stores.
