Good that they didn't cheap out on Blaster and Magnus, and actually gave them sculpts different from Wave and Prime. Still wont get me to buy them, but nice to see they put the effort into it.

I wish they would homage the actual headmasters like Headrobots does. Just don't see the point to these. Kind of cool, but why would I want an optimus prime head on a random headmaster body???

Yeah, I totally understand. That said, I still think they are well done little headmasters. So I will probably buy them for the HM novelty.

My biggest complaint, however, is the lack of bodies to accompany them. Yes, there are G1 bodies from which to pick. The colors and details might not match the HM though. If you are going to turn iconic characters into HMs, I think it would be a good idea to create an accompanying HM body. Just my 2 cents.

Yes! That I could get on board with! Or at least purposely color a Prime or Soundwave head in say "mindwipe colors" or "Apeface colors", so at least they would blend in. That could be cool!

Hmm these are cool and all but like others I don't see the point. I'd rather they make these to fit on other sculpts like Cybertron/Classics etc. I mean how bitchin would it be to pop that head on Cybertron/Universe Blaster?

everyone seems to be stuck with the North American tangent of Headmasters. The japanese line of HM had the bodies as lifeless "transtectors" and could even swap bodies when the need arose. The "heads" were the cybertrons who left the war and later needed to build the larger bodies to survive.

I think this is just a cool "WHAT IF" what if it was prime and his crew, and megatron and his crew who left and became headmasters? There are SO MANY FREEKIN continuity tangents and story arcs already, i'm surprised to find so many close minded people. clearly the point of these is for fun and making customs, and to show off the skill and design by the people who made them. it's a tf novelty. a specialty item. it's not meant for everyone.

myself, i have 2 sets of 4 on order

Did the other ones they showed have three modes, too?

As for the complaints about matching bodies...we have some really clever Radicons peeps around here...not to mention the guys that mold stuff or use Shapeways. Would it be possible, I wonder, to turn modern Transformers into Headmasters? It might only work on larger bots, but it's a thought.
