Here's an interesting custom: http://www.qksrv.net/click-1645815-5463217?loc=http://cgi.ebay.com/Decepticon-Undersea-Headquarters-custom-made_W0QQitemZ6033153399QQcategoryZ4696QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem That's right folks someone crafted a custom entryway to the Con's undersea headquarters from G1 (Too bad its not quite show accurate). So who's got $900 bucks they want to part with
I'm sure he put a lot of time and money into that, but I don't see how he can think the price is remotely reasonable.
what crap. you could make the same thing yourself for less than 30 dollars. it'd probably look better too!
As reticent as I am to say it, I sorta agree with Valkysas. Although it's definitely a neat idea, the execution doesn't look good enough to merit an $800 purchase. The fact that it's styrofoam means that ANY time that thing falls over, gets accidentially clawed by a cat, gets messed with by a kid, etc. means that it will chip and start to look shoddy. I'd pay $100 at the most for the auction at hand. I'd pay $800 if the thing had more detail, was made of light-grade plastic, held up under play wear and was completely lit.
I find his Devastator custom really good. I liked the way he incorporated the alternators parts w/o diminishing the overall looks of the toy.
Worth about $50 tops. No way a styrofoam tower is worth $300, let alone $900. He'll find out the hard way.
