Not done too much lately, big changes at work in the last week and the ominous feeling of these changes approaching for the last month have killed a lot of my creative urges more than usual, but I started on this about two weeks ago... been working on it sporadically in times when I haven't been working on the shuttle... think I've got enough to show. For facial detail... And for colour (although the colours bleed so much with jpg compression) He's about a little over half finished at the moment... so there's more to be added, particularly on the shins and thighs. Mostly made for robot mode, so the vehicle mode is spectacularly fugly.
I like what you've for First Aid so far. Looking pretty sharp and well spread out detail so he doesn't look sparse. Look forward to the next update.
damn sicne you did brawls tank mode you been doing some damn nice modeling. keep going i want to see this guy finished.
Thanks for the comments, everyone ^^ To answer questions... Zero Prime: if I could find a way to make scale not matter, I would in a heartbeat. But Groove and Blades throw the scales right out for the toys, and I'd feel the urge to make them in scale. Not ruling it out, though, just going to be unlikely for the moment. Star Cracker: thanks, and there's more detail going on. Mostly on the legs at this point, but I'm half-wanting to make medical equipment or controls on his forearms, plus a few other assorted oddities. Silverblade: right now, 3ds max. Well, always max. Harbinger: me too, and I've got the hardest bits done, so it's now just the mechanics of the legs I've got to ponder. We'll see how they come out ^^
love it. there is a real depth to his face in both images too, which is always the mark of a great artist doing tf stuff.
Great work. Only the other day I was trying to find a good pic to model FAs face on - now I have one! How's the shuttle coming along?
