Not to pick on you, but it just occured to me that we need a law (i.e. Godwin's Law) to describe the inevitable responses to Fansproject work.

At least one of the following three criticisms will occur in any Fansproject thread:

    1. Why hasn't Has/Tak pursued legal action against Fansproject.
    2. Why hasn't Has/Tak hired Fansproject.
    3. Fansproject makes KOs.

Second point= cost, FP build their stuff with design, thought and actual small pieces to make a great product, hasbro have no thought and don't want to pay people for creativity

Something about pricepoint and economics makes sense, although I think criticisms like "Hasbro doesn't care" and "Hasbro designers are stupid" would constitute their own law.

    Sad cuz they are better

The sad thing is I like Fansproject way better than Hasbro or Takara.

First off, I will most likely be picking these up. In any case, my thoughts:

    - I LOVE that Kickback has rocket boosters at the end of his abdomen
    - The bug legs in insect mode on all three are fantastic
    - Looks like you could leave Bombshell's horn sticking up from behind his head, so that solves that
    - Shrapnel uses his mandibles as weapons, so his head is going to stay inaccurate, it seems

Kickback is pretty much perfect, though. They're probably too far along in the process, but if they found a way to give collectors the option of adding the kibble to Shrapnel and Bombshell's heads that would be pretty awesome.

It could be a bit of both of those too, I think once designers are on the payroll sometime sthey might not give great care to a character, we can see in general the characters they do and don't like in designs while trying to update them. Something else may be time constraints, FP have plenty of time on their hands and shell out five figures a year? Hasbro designers must have far more out within a year and some figures can be lacklustre compared to others.

Teams come into factor, like rotf and dotm so far it's clear to see different teams get different figures, one team got topspin, skids and sentinel prime while the other got ultimate prime and roadbuster who are gone from screen accurate team to non screen accurate.

I personally would like to see FP employed by hasbro, but who says they aren't already? Prices have been high of late and they don't seem to coinside with figs(ok junkions exception). But does anybody really think hasbro will employ FP and let them run the show? Can' be done, what about the other designers and lead designers that been there years, they wouldn't be happy.

Those are nice insect modes, but as someone stated earlier I don't get a good Insecticon feel from them due to the lack of the arguably iconic profiles of Shrapnel and Bombshell (and to a lesser extent, Kickback).

They are 'different,' in terms of look, from the characters they are based on.....but I like the update. I think I'll be getting these bad boys.
