That tank would make sense. As I said in an earlier post many pages back, for me, the most plausible theory is that this is a screen grab from a promotional video for the Spanish Armed Forces/Air Force.

The Singaporean Navy had an ad of a warship turning into a robot, so I don't see why other armed forces can't join in the transforming robot bandwagon to attract recruits.

Still waiting to see how this turns out.

Definitely an Exocet Anti-Ship Missile... and your right, Spain is not using these. Which is odd with Spanish markings on the Typhoon. Sooooo.... more info to back up the "fake" side of the debate.

Still want it to be real though just too laugh at all of this thread. HAHA

EDIT: Spain is using the AGM-84 Harpoon which is very similiar in look except the nose of the missile is a little too pointed for a "typical" harpoon.

 

Well, people said the designs looked too much like movie one when the twins concept art was leaked. Lots of people cried fake. I can actually see this being intelligently written in.

1. We know that there is a corporation exploiting cybertronian technology to create transforming weaponized modes for vehicles, headed by Dylan.

2. Wouldn't it be a wonderful military application of said technology to create a jet that could transform into a tank?

3. Wouldn't it make sense for a decepticon to ironically scan this vehicle and use it against the army it was created to bolster?

Fake. One, there's not enough detail and complexity for it to be an actual movie design. Second, it's almost exactly like G1 Blitzwing, and Movieverse designs are never that reminiscent of their G1 counterparts.

 

Are you folks kidding with the "lack of detail?" Look at the legs, those twisted knots of metal could only come from a Bayformer. This is not a game screenshot- it's way too detailed and realistic for even Blur to put together.

If this were just fanart, then it's damn good fanart. I am of the opinion that this is real, but we're seeing this guy in mid-transformation. He probably doesn't have those huge, complete wings over his back- they were most likely segmented and they just come together when he transforms.

 

Tell that to Jazz.

i'll agree its no game screenshot but you DO know who Blur studios is right? Familiar with their work and all?
their stuff is CRAZY detailed

a hundred times more detailed than this fake shot for sure

 

lets see considering, we have heard nothing on blitzwing being in the movie, no toy leaks, no upc codes. and that we haven't seen any character stills of any other character like Megatron, or Shockwave or the Ferrari, or einstein/jack. and suddenly we get a picture of a unknown robot in a shot that would appear to be from footage of the film yet we have only had 1 trailer and 2 similar tv spots, and this isn't a shot from those, Bay is making sure everything that he can keep a secret is not making it to the public, so i doubt someone managed to get a movie still.

you guys need to think, instead of jumping at any picture like a bunch of hungry dogs at steak. I'm glad we haven't seen any renders yet i wanna be surprised by the new bot designs.

 

My analysis is that it does not fit the Bayverse aesthetic at all.

 

this looks like a cheap cgi rendering... for the people thinking this is real yoru crazy... it deff is one thing real fake!

deff a fan done cgi. nicely done but fan done.

 

I'm a graphic artist and designer and see no reason to doubt this is real.
I'm not saying it definitely is but considering the level of lighting and detail, if somebody has faked this they're very accomplished and using some pretty shit hot software.

So if you know how or why this is fake, please, do explain it to me.
It might be stuff that hasn't made the movie for all we know. But obviously fake? I dont know about that.

 

I said this earlier in the thread - this almost assuredly isn't for DOTM, but it's not "fake", someone spent time on this and it's most likely for something. There's too much work behind it for it to be something somebody just made at home.

 

I think it could be real tbh but its clearly not finished see his chest for example.. look at the sky its a light blue and most of the treaser its like a blue colour aka ironhide crashing into the dreads..

 

This could be somewhere else in the world and with a lens flare it would affect how you see the sky too.

I dont see anything particularly wrong with his chest either. It's vaguely similar to the new Megatron design.
