looks decent, but nothing exceptional. Reversible grill/chest was an unexpected way of approaching the transformation(and I think this is the first time we've seen it transformed correctly). Interesting how they seem to have deliberately humanised the headsculpt.
I'll be getting this. It seems to be a good update from the original deluxe. The legs are a little thinner than I would have liked, but I'll get over it. Still not keen on the Mech Tech weapons. *edit* What's with the white spoiler? I'll have to break out the black paint.
Oh wow he looks awesome! I wasnt gonna bother when i intially heard about him but seeing these pics just makes me want him, even if he isnt in the film the toy is such a massive improvement over the original it makes him worth buying.
His doors, spoiler and abdomen piece are cast in white plastic, presumably to save money on having to paint the doors white.
Oh. I really like that. Wasn't really expecting to be bothered one way or the other on this one but I'm quite pleasantly surprised. I really like the little bit of detailing on the chest there which the original deluxe lacked.
That is a MUST buy...Man and I thought I was going to be spending light on DOTM He looks eons better than movie one Barricade, and would look epic in my display.
Crap - not sure I would've picked up the HA version (you can't find those ANYWHERE now) if I knew this one was coming - but he looks more posable than any previous version. That said - I think I like the HA version just a bit more, but definitely need to get working on that Left hand mod for my HA Barricade.
It might be worth waiting them might make a "Prowl" like repaint that is reverse colour or something along those lines and if the white bothers anyone they might be able to take the toys to pieces and swap the parts like you can do with Animated Activators Bumblebee & Patrol Bumblebee to improve them a lot.
Cool! Better than the previuosly versions!Much better! His head looks like a human head with a helmet on lol
That looks gorgeous. Definitely want this. And I noticed - in Movie 1, the doors on his arms rotate. The dirst toy just simply had them molded into the arms. Here, it looks like they rotate properly. And am I tripping, or does it look like someone with a mustache and goatee photoshopped their face in place of Barricades? And giving a very devilish grin?
he does look much better but he seems a lot less menacing than the first attempt and i cant quite figure out why...
I like it a lot better than the first deluxe version of Barricade. However, I still prefer the HA over either deluxe.
