If you're still bored, throw them in the dishwasher.

Well, it's an unusual and interesting idea. It's certainly a new way to look at figures.

Oh man, this is how the world ends. Next thing you know he does this with Megatron holding the Matrix and BAM he gains a spark and sentience. Next thing we know we're mining energon under our Decepticon overlords.

    Thanks a bunch man...

The MP Prime one is really cool. These would be pretty handy for people who want to take apart figures to customize them.

    Future uses .....

Let me see if this is a KO of a orginal G1 figure......

buys it from ebay , xrays a real G1 then a substandard KO to find the different internal parts....Compares the two Xrays

Then packages it resends it to selling for a refund with a enclosed XRAY as proof its a KO

What makes this extra fun is that I disassembled a G1 Jetfire not too long ago. :)

Those seriously kick ass. Can you try something electronic next?

    ^This.

Do it next, anyone of them. Even some of the crappy ones would be fine.

    This so cool.

I'm gonna try and find some time to do a few more things tomorrow, as I collect a few other things for next week.
Omega Supreme is definitely on top of the list :)

As for others, I only ever collected series 1-3, I stopped at the movie.
I'd like to do MP Megs, but there's not a lot there to shoot.
Whirl would be nice, along with Roadbuster, original Megs, A Robotech Alpha is on the docket...

Can it penetrate chromed surfaces, or do they show up differently than normal plastic?

They do show up, but not much.
Check out Jazz's missile sprue. it's there, but not by much.

it all comes down to density. Density of the metal, density of the plastic. Look close on Jetfire's shoulder hinge. You can see through it, moreso than thicker parts on it's edge.
