As a long time transformers fan and an even longer Lego fan. I have to say that the idea of combining the two is one of the coolest things I've ever heard and also a feat I have been trying to accomplish now for years, these kre-o toys basically solve two problems... with Lego like building toys it solves the problem of " okay cool, I built it... now what do I do" by giving kids something to actually play with and transform after they're done building it. With transformers, it solves the battle damage problem. Now if u want pull the characters leg off, it just comes off and can easily be fixed instead of constantly putting wear on the ball joints and eventually having ROTF sideswipe's whole right leg snap off (personal experience.) The only thing that worries me is the quality of these Kre-o's. Anyone who has played with Mega blocks will have a perfect example of Lego immitations crappy material choices. Really I can't wait to see how they turn out :)

what size do you think the mini-figs hands are? We know you can get mini-spartans to ride on 5-mm pegs, are these the same? I'd consider these if I could get the mini-Prime Kre-o to ride his DOTM counterpart!

They appear to be C-joint compatible. If they are, they just went from [gift for my kid brother] to [buy and keep away from my kid brother].

Heh, last night I was removing the heads and hands from some junker bots to use with my legos.

Anyway, these look...cheaper, somehow. More 'plasticy' than legos. I hope that's just prototypes/testshots/samples/whatever, and not indicative of the final product.

Still, they look infinitely better than BTR.

I melt 24k gold ingots into building blocks.

Seriously though, what I meant was these don't look like they're made of 'quality' plastic, you know?

Like the kind of plastic that really cheap KO's are made of.

Total FAIL on hasblow's part! BTR part 2!!!! Go to hell hasBLOW!!!

These look fantastic if they can transform.
These look fantastic if you have to take them apart to transform them.

I'm impressed with all three of these. Can't wait to see what else they have in store.

Do a G1 Sideswipe Hasbro! I'll love you forever!

I actually want to say something about these.

The full-size sets can wither and die for all I care, those mini-figures are awesome.

^ Didn't we learn prices a few days ago? I wanna say Prime is $60. Which is making me reconsider how much I really want those mini-figures. :-/
